How do I play any sound ingame??

I have my mic set as default but when I press the hotkey to play a sound. nobody hears it in-game, sorry that i'm dumb but I have no idea how to play the sound in-game so others can hear it. I can do it on Discord but not games.

Please take a look at the most common reasons from the FAQ - Why can't others hear the sounds I play[www.leppsoft.com]. According to your description it might be: Push-to-Talk key not pressed or microphone output volume too low.

So i've tested some things out and if I use voice activity on games that allow voice activity, the soundpad will play files I've chosen but if I use push-to-talk on a game, I can't play the soundpad files even if I am holding the push-to-talk button while playing the soundpad file.

What is your Push-to-Talk key and what is the hotkey of the sound you want to play? Maybe, there is some conflict.

My push to talk key is Alt and my hotkeys are Mouse4, Mouse5, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5..... When I hold the push to talk button and press any of my hotkeys to play a sound, I dont hear it and it doesn't play in-game cause players don't hear it.. If I press a hotkey first to play a sound then hold the push-to-talk button, I can hear the sounds I want played but it doesn't play in-game.

Never mind, I guess I just had to restart the app along with some sound configurations..

I'm having the exact same issue what did you do to fix it ? I can't play them in-game in dota 2 when I press the push to talk key nothing happens but my friends in discord can hear it fine.
