Access denied microphone?

Honestly kind of stumped. I had crashing issues with the program ever since I got it, but I just deal with it now, whenever a log file is created it causes the crashes so I just delete it. My new issue is this https://gyazo.com/d52576524325c5a815e39713be4c806c
Now I just get access denied for my yeti? I honestly dont know what to do anymore

When you click on apply, do you get a User Account Control confirmation dialog from Windows, asking you to allow Soundpad to make the changes to the device?
It should pop up and if you decline it, you'll see the access denied error message.

I don't get a popup in general.

Curious, the shield symbol as you see it on the Restart Win-Audio button is missing on the OK and Apply buttons. Somehow the framework thinks, that Soundpad is run as administrator, while it actually doesn't have elevated permissions.

Just to make it short, did you try to reinstall Soundpad? It's probably the fastest way to get the permissions restored.

Yeah, I think its just some weird issue with my UAC versus soundpad. I'll update if I cant get it working when I get back home.

I have a similar issue with my Blue Yeti Pro. It will not play the sound to other programs. I hear it on my headphones but it does not play in Discord or in game. When I swap to a different headset and use my soundcards microphone input it works perfectly fine!

EDIT: I figured it out! I had to make sure that the playback device was my sound card. While the Blue Yeti is the only selected device without having any other devices enabled in the sound settings in Windows. Now with Hotkeys, it is working perfect. Also make sure the hotkey switches between: default and microphone.
