No Returning Portal to the Dungeon

After I've defeated the Duke on the first encounter, I can't get a returning portal to the Dungeon whenever I port back to the Camp.

Is this a bug or intended? Am I missing something?

Edit: Nvm. Discovered the problem. Once you beat that boss. You HAVE to do enter and finish an Item Dream. After that things go back to normal and the portals back to the main Dungeon can now appear again.

You can fast travel to the Branching Meadow (the area after the boss room with the two paths onwards) assuming you entered that floor.

I know about fast travel to that entrance.
I'm not porting back from there. I'm porting from Dungeons after that and low level Dungeons. The one I used to have a returning portal to then whenever I ported back to the Camp.
Not only I lose time on this travel, but I'm also losing the Blessings. =\
