The overwhelming majority of the work we did on the Switch version (which took over a year) was on optimizing the game for console & controller, which meant redesigning various UIs and control methods among other things. It feels great to play and you don't lose any quick access to things like pet commands, healing flask, escape portal, etc.
I dont know the h0ll you are talking abot cause this is my first time playing the game (love it when i saw it and waited for the switch release cause i didnt want to buy it twice) , but it all sound really really nice and by no means Im asking you to justify the price increase, only the hard work without any content is more than enough justification.
Will the expasion be release for Switch the same day than PC I will love to buy it day one and not to wait a year again!!! hahaha
Thank you so much for this kind of beautiful games! (L)
F0ck it, i just bought it hahah I havent buy anything this month but Resident Evil, a little whim.
Love you Devs!!!
You will have zero worries about sales potential on the switch by gauging the amount of people who are literally chomping at the bits for it on the Nindietendo Switch console. ;P
However, I would reccomend giving the pc version of the game, for free, to some indie streamers and you tubers, like Nook, Coh Carnage, Get Indie Gaming, Iam Patty Jack, etc... to get more exposure as the main problem at the moment seems to be a lack of marketing.
BUT...when it's around $5 i feel like that's fair. i just look at it as a portable-tax, tbh, and i'm generally perfectly fine with paying an extra $5 to play a game anywhere.
i'm super excited this came to switch because i had no idea it existed beforehand and the switch needs more actual rogue-likes.
this game seems to have a crazy amount of content and i'm pumped to grind away for loot and levels forever (if that's possible. i still don't know if there's a hard end or if i can just play forever.)
i'm also really happy about the crazy amount of difficulty customization options. it makes the game more inviting for people that are wary of rogue-likes and permadeath in general AND makes it more inviting for people looking for a really hard time.
Woo! Just picked this up on Switch. I'm a big fan of the PC version and look forward to some good roguelike action on the go! Hopefully we'll see that sweet sweet expansion. Keep up the good work y'all!
