How do you unlock Wild Child?

How do you unlock the class Wild Child, and or HuSyn?

I know I unlocked HuSyn in a campfire area between floors. I think it was just after the third boss (where it'd seemingly be most relevant story-wise as well) so it may either be fixed or I got super lucky.

Yep that's the HuSyn unlock, you nailed it.

Wild Child is through the Friendship Forest quest. Get two monsters in your corral and explore to ~6F or so, then head to the Grove to kick it off.

um, i got two creatures, i'm at lvl 12 or so, i don't see a quest or anything to unlock Wild Child, i've tried making the creatures fall in love and breed, but still no new class, what am i missing?

I wonder as well..
I have 3 monsters in corral, i have explored past 6F, and nothing triggers that quest when visiting the Grove, nor talking to NPCs.

Dev, would it be possible that Erasing a character who triggered the Friendship Forest quest without completing it, prevents to get it triggered again with a new character on the same slot ?

My character had 2 monsters in corral by the time he went through 6F (which is 1st boss hideout) and has now 4 monsters, and is way beyond (12F), but still can't trigger this unlock..

My quest got triggered by having x2 crabs in corral.
If you look at their info, it said something like status - likes "2nd crab name"
But i don't understand what to do, after i find the mating forest.
I went their, killed all the mobs but didn't find any rose petals, or anything at all for that matter.
Also why isn't there a quest log of some kind?

Doxy do you have the GOG version or Steam? This should have been fixed in the most recent Steam patch. Once you beat the final monster of Friendship Forest, a boss champion should appear. Beat that, and you'll get the rose petals as well as unlock Wild Child.

If it's still a problem I'll look into it!

@Impact Gameworks What about the issue i talked about ?

As i remember having an npc talk about rose petals, with one of my 1st characters who ended erased so i could start another job on the same slot.
That new character had 2 monsters in corral from the start, and has like 5 now, but yet never triggered that quest again. It is now at floor 12+ and still nothing.

If you delete a character who had that quest, Could the quest trigger get bugged for the next ones you create on same slot ?

Yeah I had 4 monsters in the corral and I never got any quest. I've been to the 14th or so floor with 2 seperate characters and played with at least 9.

Actually i do remember getting a quest that needed me to get rose petals from a side area. I thought I completed that quest though. What are the steps to it exactly?

My first and only alternate class unlock was Wild Child.

I defeated the creatures in the side-area where you can collect rose petals and a very challenging lizard monster appeared to fight me. After a very long fight where I nearly died, it was defeated and I received the message that I unlocked Wild Child.

At the time, I had 2 monsters in my coral (I believe this was the trigger for the Friendship Forest area).

I got the quest, but randomly found a rose petal instead of going to the friendship forest. I tried to complete it that way (made the meal, pets ate it) but nothing happened with the pets, and I didn't unlock wild child. I've since created several new characters on the same save with no luck :(

Kinda bummed out because I love "learn abilities from enemies" themed classes.

Sorry for the trouble, this should be fixed in the current BETA build (which will go to live by Friday). If you opt-in to beta, you should immediately get the unlock if you've met the conditions for it.
