How to backup and restore save file

Some players reported loss of save due to corruption or some similar bug. Here's what you can do to reverse this situation if it happens to you

BACKUP YOUR SAVE (I usually do this at the end of every game session):

1 - In your Windows search bar type: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Cradle Games\Hellpoint and press enter.

2 - Backup the file whose name is made up of several letters and numbers (you can copy this file to the desktop, for example), this is your character.

RESTORE YOUR SAVE (in case of loss or corruption):

1 - In your windows search bar type: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Cradle Games\Hellpoint and press enter (leave this folder open).

2 - Open the game and delete the unwanted save in the menu (X button for those using xbox controller and square for those using ds4).

3 - Keeping the game open press Alt + Tab and navigate to the previous save backup (the one you may have copied to the desktop). Then copy that file (right click, copy).

4 - Navigate to the Cradle Games\Hellpoint folder you left open and paste the backup save replacing the old one (you can also delete the old save from the Hellpoint folder and then paste the backup save).

5 - Go back to the game and close it from the menu (this will update the game cloud with the new save, from backup).

6 - Open the game and your old save will be active.
