Earliest catalyst in the game

On the third boss now (arisen congregation) and trying to get a foresight build together but I haven't found any catalysts yet, are there any in the embassy, arcology or sohn district?

i know there's one in sohn, i know you can get it pretty much after beating the 2nd boss...maybe after the first boss if you got the secret port key and the card for the train.
i recall someone already made a youtube video or a post here how to get a catalyst fast, might be worth a search.

Already did an online search today and yesterday, but all that comes up is how to get the catalyst conductor...

I found one in the walkways, whem you get to a victim firing at you to your right on a slight higher ground, if you fall in the gap between you and him, there is a secret down there with a nice energy catalyst, I found it by accident, its pretty early in the zone, right after fighting a lot of enemies with some coming out of sewers.

Which walkways do you mean in which area? Do you mean those dual-pistol wielding enemies or the ones that spit fire at you? Would be awesome if you could post a screenshot of the location :)

First location, left to the cage guy in the elevato room there is a push wall, get one there

Found it, much appreciated. Also found the secret in the secret. It's a firearm and has COG scaling though, will do for the moment as I don't use shields anyway, but I'll go for the catalyst through issodoun I guess. Man, not having one weapon of each kind from the start really bugs me in this game, any proper soulslike normally at least gives you starting class you can commit to, in this game I don't know if going for a not melee-focused build is viable yet.

In Arcology you can find powerful fire staff and catalyst-conductor. You need to use train (I don't remember where I find the train card, maybe in the port) from port Issoudun (and you can find key to the port in a secret room in the first area, it's secret room in the other secret room, yes) to Sohn distirct and there you can go to the Arcology's elevator which opens path to Alma Mater. On the path you can find fire staff and catalyst. There is also a occultist which can transfor boss parts into some weapons, and if you killed master of puppets (idk how it's called in english version, sorry, it's the boss of port Issoudun), you can give him his part and he will transform it into very interesting right hand weapon with reflex and foresight scaling.
In the sohn district you can beat horde event and get fire conductor for weapons.
In the Ikari district you can find hedron of light in another secret room, and in Dominion you can find VERY USEFUL module which greatly increase you energy gain from strikes in the another secret room near the elevator with 4 buttons, entropy conductor and light staff on one of the lower levels.

Thanks, I played the demo and found the staff already, just didn't know how to access issodoun but found the double-secret now :D

And don't forget to improve your catalyst conductor because it's not only increase power but also significantly decrease energy cost. It's not linear, on one level it can decrease nothig, in other it can decrease first skill, on other it can decrease second or third skill.

Now I find right hand staff which I've seen in the demo. I want more right hand weapons with foresight scaling. And I'v read there is some nihl catalyst, but idk where I can find it.
