2 player co-op.
Coming from Dark Souls my favourite thing to do when I need to grind was to help randoms progress. Hopefully this is possible in Hellpoint too.
is there any restrictions with CO-OP/PVP? like you can't summon if.....
the store page doesn't really explain mu ch in detail;
"If you are struggling, ask a friend to press Start to join in a couch coop session, or call for assistance online. The entire game can be completed uninterrupted in coop. The loot is shared, and the experience of local player two is saved and not watered down."
I'm also worried about "the loot is shared" comment. If this game will let you CO-OP with randoms, does that mean they can steal all your loot? or do you simply mean joining a late game player, will allow you to access all of the players older weapons/armour?
In any case, further explanation would be dope. Since the game is on sale already I guess we could expect details.
When we say not watered down, it means you can play the whole game in coop, from the start to finish.
- Wall hands; You place a sign on a wall. This sign can be blue or red, for coop or duel. This hands shows up in other player's game and they can interact with it to come help you or kick your ass.
- Match code; in the online tab, each player has a match code. Giving that 8-digits code to someone else allow them to join your game. When they input the code, they are given an option to join you as coop or duel. Match code are refreshed anytime you restart the game.
When we say "loot is shared", it means that if you pick an item, the coop get it too. If the coop pick an item, you get it too. Same with currency. We know it could create "abuse" of a very high level player carrying you over, but we feel that's what a big brother would do in splitscreen to help his little brother.
