Sooo is This Actually Good?
I mean, it looks decent, but the reviews that are recommending this seem sarcastic, and this is Bubsy we're talking about...

It looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful from the trailer, pretty plain and stiff, boring environments etc.

It looks nice but I'm just going to wait for Super Lucky's Tale coming out next week even though that's only for Xbox One and Windows 10 atm.

That game looks far better than this.

I'm having a great time with it so far. The game controls really well and the level design has been excellent. It does feel a bit cheap, but it's IMO the best Bubsy game to date. If you're a fan of oldschool platformers you should definitely check it out.

I'd say it's average. Not the best but not the worst either. Too easy and too short for me IMO to justify the price, even reduced by the sale. If it ever gets down to $9 or so though, I'd say go for it.
hey, coming from a guy who never play Bubsy in the 1st place, then you still kicking alive to this day to play classsic platform that everyone hate about, yes you had heard people keep talking about how bad Bubsy is, how it became a meme of internet, how ♥♥♥-king Jontron suck told us to stay away from this Bubsy( ♥♥♥-k Jontron btw) how desperate Bubsy trying to copy cat Sonic even though the original dev did wrote an analysis on how Sonic game is good, so my advice is, just play it for yourself! it may be mediocore 2D platformer but, if you don't like it just refund!

Calm down...

Does no one else see that its just a re skinned Gianna Sisters game?

I see it, and I'm pleased? Bubsy fits pretty well with it.

It's funny that despite Bubsy "trying" to copycat Sonic, it doesn't really do so. It's a pretty unique game, especially the sequels with their wacky level themes.

The complaints of the originals was that he moves as fast as Sonic, but the game was designed like Mario.

Which one? Great Giana Sisters was awesome, Twisted Dreams was a cynical cash-in on the name, and had nothing to do with Giana Sisters at all.

It's obviously based on the Twisted Dreams engine, down to the way it handles. I loved Twisted Dreams, btw. I lost count on how many hours I've pumped into that game.

I'm not a fan of the level design. When I played Bubsy on the SNES, I remember enjoying the first world a lot because you could fly around a lot and run quickly. The first world was huge and there were so many ways to get through it.

This game seems much more slow and linear, which I don't know if I like very much.

Same engine, yes. Reskin? No. They play very differently (there's no "world shifting" mechanic in Bubsy what-so-ever, which Giana relies VERY heavily on).
