84 days non stop to buy a familar (it seems to be 10 currencies per day in free stuff), half a year to a pack. It's more a big move into the PTW direction, I would say. With players checking how they made 50 days to get 500 currencies and they can get the missing 500 currencies instantly with some cash, there is some intensive hidden there. The change barely have any effects on free players, but it'll be very benefical for whales with the +30 ilvl per duplciate item. If some players make the move from FP to whaling because of the augmented delta in stuff, and how in their brain the shortcut button will start to flash, CNE will hit their target in their move.
Quite a sad news, in my opinion, with a game more predatory toward player's psychology.
I was probably right: "looking pretty well" for gamers usually means "we're not squeezing enough money out of 'em" for the publisher.
I will once again say that I am not against f2p games having microtransactions that keep the game going but don't pretend this is a good thing for the players.
