so now it impossible to sync cross different platforms
IMHO
Keep in mind the state the game is in when switching platforms, is from a null game state. In other words, no active campaigns progressing. Thus, the ONLY information that needs to be moved from one platform to another is the player's possessions and completed campaign progress. That would consist of unlocked champions, potions, contracts, timegate pieces, equipment, favor, and upgrades purchased with favor. i am sure i missed some items, but hopefully this is enough to explain my point.
The only time it could potentially be an issue would be during a major upgrade to the game. In those instances, the easy fix is to lock out platform transitions until all platforms have received the update.
Don't think of it as an active synchronization. It would be more accurate to view this as a manual transition from one platform to another. It has to be triggered by the player manually, and only one platform can be used at any time. Any progress gained on a non-current platform would be wiped if the main progress was transitioned to that platform.
