K'thriss Kill 10K Enemies with Ultimate (need advice)

I have been working on K'thriss' "Tentacular Spectacular" achievement and it is taking forever. I am still only at 4,190/10K what would be the best way to get this one moved along?

I just made sure he was always in a formation, and always had a familiar on his Ult, and it unlocked without ever trying.

The problem is he has rather poor availability and relatively weak buffing.

Similar here. He's not amazingly useful to me so I'm just beating this one down using Twilight Twist. About half way, should be done tomorrow morning ;)

I "preemptively" completed that one, thanks to him being in my formations for too long before I started paying attention to who was actually worth keeping around.

And in answer to why unlock him at all if he's not particularly useful ?

Best of the bad choices remaining and he's potentially useful for quests like Blooshie/Xenophon/Krux which need deep benches.

I only have Krux left of the Evergreens, and that may remain that way for the near/far future. I unlocked Briv because the only other "useful" champion I could have used as last "flex" was Tatyana (Miria and Strix took the previous flex slots.) Better get one more champion for STP 4 instead of feeding Valentine's girlfriend any epics.

Currently doing the grind on this one, the following is seeming effective :

Grand Tour - Mad Wizard
K'Thriss, Celeste healing, Alia up front as tank (because I'm also needing Alia's grind done), Penelope (see Alia grind comment), Dungeon Master.

Familiars are on K'Thriss and Celeste to level, plus K'Thriss and DM ultimates. DM's ultimate resets the longest ultimate counter, so the tentacles come out more often.

Hey where is that listed, I can't seam to find the counter.

For me i was having issues with unexpected guist getting rolled so i guess use a slower farm and see how that goes.

In the champion page within the Event UI itself, even if the champion isn't one of your chosen ones, you can still check if they have some "achievement" you could complete for them.

I see the achievement, but not the counter. I see another thing down lower but hovering over doesn't seam to help.

Click on the star in each "quest" within the event UI, to track whichever quest you want to track.

This is what I did too. Takes zero effort and handles itself with zero engagement. I coupled it with an endless potion run along with Briv's Netherese Steel tally to 250,000 stacks.

Top left of the screen: Info- Achievements - Festival of Fools - the quest you want to track

That's where all quests are supposed to be.

Edit: K'Thriss seems to be in the Midwinter section instead of Festival of Fools, at least for me.

It's much simpler than it looks. Just click on the star that's in every "quest" icon, then on the main screen (where you see your party killing things or being killed by things) the tracked quest will be there.

Edit: The "star" is visible in that screenshot. Barely, depending on contrast and brightness settings.

The issue is that, as expected from these developers, the "star" used as a check box can be almost invisible in a lot of the 'achievement' icons shown in the interface. Making it a clearly visible, actual checkbox instead of a dull grey star was probably too mainstream for them.
