DUrge V2: I used the Adversaries, Birdsong, and Minsc with the tadpole feat.

DUrge V3: For BUD-setting, I used the Adversaries, Volo, and Val with her alignment change feat.

When I needed extra armor breaking, I switched in Esmeralda, Hew Mann, Grimm, and Diana for knockback/stun.

Remember stacking abilities on several of these champs when you need a good BUD spike.
correction: Two champions transposed. My saved formation was incorrect.

Later in the run, it was necessary to shift people to the front until everyone had been killed at least once.
And to deal with the giants later on, using Diana's and Laezel's ults for stun and knockback

For DUrge, several members of the Adversaries have stacking buffs. Astarion's Well Fed with the feat to increase maximum stacks. Wyll's Bravado. Karlach's Rage combined with her ult. Laezel's Aberration Hunter. With all of those at maximum, BUD exceeded e420.
For Briv, the entire process was messy. Kas takes a long time to build up Mortal Pawns stacks. Desmond started with three stacks of Lament the Lost from the escort wagon. When I needed more stacks on Desmond, that required moving people to the front of the formation just to get them killed, until everyone in my BUD-setting formation had been turned by Kas. Otherwise I was just getting pushed back every time the forward wagon got hit, with only the front column having been turned. Desmond's Lament ability, even at low level, provides a significant buff with 10 or more stacks.
1600 is an exercise in frustration, the game is no longer fun.
Fast core. Switching to Modest or Unaffiliated would have been good for a few more e's, but wasn't necessary this time.
Full set of huge potions, no more. Most global blessings, most global patron perks except Elminster's.
One of the characters I used doesn't have full epics yet.
1600 is often frustrating, I agree. 1400 can be, depending on restrictions.
I was just reviewing the formation I posted, and I may have goofed. I think on the BUD-setter, I have Val and Laezel swapped. I know DUrge was my main DPS, not Laezel, and in that position Val isn't duplicating Astarion's Outflank.
At the risk of unintended insult, I trust you remembered that all these abilities reset their stacks when you change areas, and that you turned off auto progress (hotkey G) while the stacks build up.
It probably added a positionnal heal stack or something like these. That will only affect BUD very slightly adding a stack to taegrum.
i think its cause some of my patrons lacking behind or half of the group is just at legendary1 equip. this weekend i think i will get some legendary levels again.
but dont forget to get them a bit ilvls as well. mines are now at ilvl 1000
