Fortune's Wheel is so stupid

So we got new variants with goals on par with the un-nerfed existing ones.
We even got new perks to purchase up to e50.

But because of the absolutely idiotic nerf to favor, you can't grind this outside of conversions.

I can't beat these 900+ objectives with limited character selection, because the BUD is way too low, and I can't afford the upgrades since the gold is too low.

What are they thinking?
How did they expect casual players to get anywhere with this?
Formations I find posted in reddit aren't working.

Don't get me started about Wren's mission.

Thing is it's not even pay to win though. There's nothing I can buy to clear this quest at present.

Furthermore, I see these stunts they pull and have no faith that buying anything will give me lasting power to tackle future updates like this, since nothing I worked for so far apparently is good enough or will be when that that character/slot/class/race is ineligible entirely.

Two months, Events, Tiamat, Time Gates and I'll have e53, have the global bonuses and probably the local ones as well.

What's the problem ?

ProblemS. Glitches, memory leak & broken offline progression.

For current time gate, I've a party with a e700 BUD and I disconnected at an area with base mob health of ~e560. No progression overnight, so I'll have to sacrifice other content today because of that. And of course I've to close the client if I want to play something else because huge processor charge & memory leaks of IC, but with broken offline progression I can't progress then - vicious circle.

And the issue was heavily renewed with area cap increase as most of my stalls happening in areas ~2050-2100 when I've the damage to hit areas 2400 or 2500.

Most probably but unconfirmable, they said it's the penultimate release, and according to leaks, there is no blessing linked to the next Fortune Wheel's adventures release.

It's a challenge for high level players who've done damn near everything.

I'm surprised to have got so far, and yeah it's a grind and it'll take months but it's not impossible either. I'm not in a hurry here anyway.

My system is well enough balanced that IC doesn't prevent me playing other games which is a help.

You just need to push as far as you can using your strongest gold group. Also you can open chests when you get to the furthest you can get which gives a little boost. Then of course just add favor from any transfer you can. It's end game stuff, I've been playing a bit over 2 years now and there is very little left to do. Though i will say i have not worked on the wheel much, i get to about area 1k now and only at like e17 favor.

Look at the bright side, at least there is something to actually do other than just start over.

I've done most of the primary quests (Not all of FW yet). Maybe 30% of the patron variants.
Fortunes wheel favour is around e47 for me, which allows me to max out my parties.
To get to e53 (enough to unlock the rewards and not hurt too much) is as I said above, perhaps a couple of months for me.

So - it's probably doable even when you aren't that capable yet, it just takes determination to get divine favour in everything convertible (Tiamat/Time gates/events) as high as you can AND the patience to not burn favour too soon. (That >1% warning is actually useful :) )

I can't get more than e30 favor out of a Fortune run, even running a full Gold Find group for 95% of it. Make it to about z1500-1600 for a total of e30 favor. I've got it over 40 with conversions but that seems like an incredibly stupid system.

Thanks to a glitch, you can get another e20 by using Penelope in random variants there. She still remains bugged even post-rework.

My gold find group with Freely reached e39 , and yes, Fortune's Wheel most stupid from campaigns
