Regis 1600
Anyone got a party that worked for Regis' 1600? Even with him and a healer my guys are getting wiped.

I don't remember full party i used or what the parameters are, but I'm pretty sure Dob and Rust were involved, possibly Turiel, Cattibrie, Shadowheart and Artemis if those aren't restricted.

There are no restrictions, just include several speed champions into your party to minimize the damage. Using a fire breath potion is probably also a good idea.

oh, this the one with damage, ya speed and I used Briv with his healing Pho

There aren't Champ restrictions, but whole party takes 10% damage every enemy killed, only a third of that damage if next to Regis (this doesn't seem to be working properly though) 3.33% HP per kill X 25 kills shouldn't be enough to wipe the party if they are next to Regis but it does. I tried using Orkira as a healer but she can't keep up. The front line dies so fast that my BUD spike is lower than it should be. It's not a huge deal no unique rewards from this one I'm just completionist OCD. He was mostly a flex pick just because he's one of the few champs I don't have all the achievs for. Hard to do the BUD spike/fire breath trick because even on area 1 killing enemies will wipe the party eventually.
Anyway no big deal, only missing out on a chest and a few free ilvls. Next year maybe.

There are no party wipers and no armored, segmented-health bosses that require a tank's health pool to handle. So don't have one. That makes 'healing' the 10% health damage per enemy kill a walk in the park. If you have enough 17-cha champions to spread Antrius's buff to the whole party, that's a good option. NERD-cleric + Valentine to bounce the heal back is another option to heal the entire party constantly. Just make sure that NERD-tank is not in the cart. Omin with enough of the right champions to spread his Tymora buff to the entire party works too.

Just remember: if your tankless groups aren't strong enough on their own, you can swap back and forth between a more powerful party to rebuild your BUD before continuing on. FB potions can do all the heavy lifting. And never forget to think outside the box.

Therefore do it at z0005 instead of z0001.

Did it an hour or so ago. Omin was the magic for me. Taking e5 damage, getting e7 heals so it became a non-issue at the top end.

D'hani, Widdle, BBEG (to cut the number of enemies to kill down early on)/swapped to Omin later for his heal, Krux,Valentine, Reya,Morgaen,Kent, Rust, Vi (From memory)

And yes, quite a bit of BUD rebuilding to get those last 75 areas.

Probably not the 'best' party but likely close to best for me with my bench.

I totally missed that boss areas don't have the health drain, thanks Kab. That should do it hopefully.

Now if I could figure out that horrible Dhadius one with the torches I'd be all set bahaha.
kab_reg Dec 21, 2024 @ 8:54am
His variant requires mostly a good set of legendary items on your team.
rdkehoe Dec 21, 2024 @ 8:56am
Yea I've started to shift my focus on my AA team rather than Artemis, unfortunately most of my legendaries went to Artemis. Works great for trials and non-patron variants but lackluster when you can only field 5-6 champs, or can't field dps/supports because restrictions. Don't think I'll get there before event ends but I'll crush it next year haha.

I can't manage z1600 Lucius for the opposite reason. My legendaries are spread around more (not on everyone but allocated so I can manage a lot of the variants) and that one removes three formation spots and I just don't have enough killing power with a bench of any 7 to get there.

Much to my surprise I did manage z1600 on all the rest, so I'm happy.

C'est la vie.

Sounds like the same issue I have with Dhadius' 1400, too many slots occupied by torches for any type of useful formation, and not enough legendary investment to make up for it.
LostSoul Dec 22, 2024 @ 6:18am
I barely managed Lucious's 1600. I couldn't manage Dadius's when he got his overhaul. The restrictions plus the lost slots was too much. Which is why I didn't pick him as one of my flex champs. I still don't have enough high-level legendaries spread around to manage it.

In my case, having legendary items around level 10 (and not fully optimized at that time) was enough for Dhadius. I used an Asharra-based team, which is heavily outdated now.
