Artemis and the Hall

Why is Artemis unafilliated for this season. Doing a Strahd free play and I can only slot in Regis, Catti-brie and Artemis for the task, but Artemis is not helping me complete the milestone kill quest with 3 Companions. Make no sense that they left Artemis with no affiliation for this season.

I just noticed that Pwent is unaffilated with the Hall too. Why is that?

He and Artemis are both featured in the Season summary screen. But on the other hand are Drizzt and Bruneor, who are Companions of the Hall, missing.

What's the logic behind that?

After the debacle with Asharra default and evergreen champions are not included into Seasons.

Artemis Entreri is not a Companion of the Hall, he had nothing to do with the retaking of Mithral Hall. In fact for the longest time he was their main nemesis, especially Drizzt's.
And while Thibbledorf Pwent is very loyal to King Bruenor, he is also not one of the 5 companions who set out to find and reclaim Mithral Hall for Clan Battlehammer.
So yeah, they are both associated with the CotH, but not part of it.

Why the hell? Interresting choice of word. Maybe an evil champion will do that to corrupt them.

Because evil doesn't normally mean the puppy kicking cartoon villain type evil...Artemis is a pragmatist and assassin, he's likely to work with anyone there if he either agrees with them on the end goal, it benefits him, or he's getting paid for it.

no. you totally should be mad :) i'm new to this game, but saw drizzt was in it, and was like, i feel like playing a game with badarse drizzt in it. So i'm grinding through the quests to get to him, Artemis is like killer DPS, insane really, and i'm like going, can't wait to get to Drizzt, he's totally going to own Artemis....

and then i get him.... and ffs, wtf. i can't get his DPS anywhere within, like 1 million fold, of Artemis. This is probably not hyperbole. And his benchwarmer slot buddy is Makos, totally dominates all over Drizzt, no matter how i try to tweak the formation, by at least 10 000 fold. ugh.

Drizzt who is every bit the equal of Artemis in the lore, is the most pitiful version of himself in this game. It drained away every bit of interest i had in this game. I uninstalled, and will never come back. Well done game developers. you can't screw over a top tier character like this. some of us come here for Drizzt!

They will probably rework him at some point.
And he's really not so bad dps-wise if you position him well.

Currently i'm in a run and my team's Artemis is doing around e103
And Drizzt is doing around e91
Not that big of a difference i think.
And i should note that my Artemis is pretty well equipped, unlike my Drizzt.

Tbh i'd love if Pwent was part of the companions, but there are probably lore inconsistencies that prevent this. Not sure what those may be tho.
