They'll never stops, since they're making an achievement for each variant, and they put out new variants every so often. Though it usually doesn't take long to do the new variants; there's some exceptions, of course; even with teams of champions that aren't very optimized.

Because every time we complete the damn game they add more garbage achievements. Enough!

It only matters to people who care about their steam average completion score or #of steam 100% completed games. if youre not one of us, you wouldnt understand, haha.

You can think of it like an OCD thing.

It does keep us coming back to the game for 100% completion though, again and again.
It will never end until they shut down the game. Rawr.

Yeah, I'm not that much of a completionist, and don't care much for the Steam score or whatever. I do understand the frustration now though. You have my moral support and a virtual hug, if that's ok with you.

The story is still developing, and so are the achievements. Must wait until the end of the major chapters of the story, the number of achievements may be fixed.

I like trying to complete new stuff to keep it at 100%. Only irritates me when I can't do it. About to hit 504/504, so that's fine.

Umm... What's a "steam achievement"?

• Is it a reward for being the person who spends the longest time in a sauna?
  
• Or do you get it when you leave the kettle boiling after making tea?
  
• I went for a ride on a "steam" train at a tourist attraction the other day. Can I get a 'steam' achievement for that?

But, to put the joking aside for a moment, if you are the type of person who wants to maintain a 100% completion record on your Steam profile, you really shouldn't be playing games that are still being actively developed. Just track down and play as many dead or orphaned games as you can find.
