Hello,

Among the Champions of the Ahghairon festival, which ones are the ones not to be missed? Or those with the most interest or usefulness?

The four key champions are Valentine, Omin, Jim and Lae'zel. Others are less important/more situational. For example, Shandie does not particularly need high ilvl to be effective, especially as a speed champion, therefore it is probably better to get her via a time gate.

Jim can be a good enough support, Omin can be healing and buffing a whole formation if enough of his allies are in it, Valentine lets DPSs double-tap on buffs or get buffs that they would otherwise not get, Lae'zel can automatically complete zones letting you get past some of the annoying "segmented obstacle" zones. Shandie is only useful for speed, but her usefulness can get easily diminished in some adventures, and even for gem farming she's not a "must have." Still a good champion to have around for when other speed champions can't be fielded.

The rest are rabble, and should only be roused when needed.

Not ONLY for speed. Shandie is also a relatively decent buffer and debuffer, but that requires the party to be under attack, which negates her speed effect (and requires non-zero investment into her ilvl).

I'll be choosing Jim/Valentine, because I'm an Artemis scrub, Lae'zel, and Omin.

In my case I got Valentine first, next I'll work on Omin and leave Jim for last. Those three have been in my push team for the longest time (Jim/Omin I got for free from the second Season I played, Valentine was my first ever free time gate because, well, "redhead and hot.")
