Should we be expecting a nerf in the semi-near future? Because he went from a C-tier buffer to an A-tier buffer overnight. To be clear, I'm not complaining. I'm just surprised by such a dramatic shift in his power as a support champion. He's tacked on at least an e20 worth of party-wide damage boosts. And I'm nowhere near what some people have for favor totals and gold find boosts from other champions.

His "Highest Bidder" is indeed only e10 but I did put a familiar on his ult and at z400 his "Hello Friend" is e18.

When doing that, he easily surpasses Omin.

I've tested him in the foreground since I need to do some favor pushes anyways.

Right now his Highest Bidder is at e24 and his Hello, Friends is at e20.

Omin is grumbling at him and how his e29 used to be awesome. Don't worry, Omin, you're still awesome, there's just someone "awesomer."

I'm moving to the active when Umberto is maxed and then I put DM in and speed up Rust's ult.

I'm curious how high I can push Hello Friends.

e30 ish is nice but not super A top of the ranks, he just goes form meh to hey alright for most situations - they may cap it....may not bother

The highest I've seen for Hello Friends is e28, but I imagine it could get much higher than that with enough time spent in an adventure.

At z2000 his max stack is 400 + 40% from the feat I think. (need to check that when I'm higher in zones)

I had e28 at 300 stacks.

Not sure if ilvls affect it too.

But they don't affect stacks, just two feats do (total 60% since I think that's additive?)

That's just one of his two party-wide damage buffs. Both of them can exceed e30.

I'm around z1000 right now and have stack 217 (max 811) so it probably works different and I'm not yet understanding it.

I'll push it a bit more and then set it to the background during the night and check tomorrow how high it gets.

Remember if you picked the middle spec it's increased by 20% for each Gold Find champ in the formation (multiplicatively). That and the two feats are also multiplicative, both with the spec and each other.

Okay, that explains why the math wasn't adding up about the cap to those stacks.

Anyhow, I'm guessing "potentially e40 + e40 " would be better than a single e35, so Rust is actually better than most other champions I've been using as buffers (and a few that are buffers and debuffers,) and will help me get through a few Elmo variants I had in my mental "not even bothering with this yet" folder.

It's nice that he'll also get a lot more gold chests than previous events champions would get, thanks to the "daily rewards" thing. I'm half-hoping these augments are not a one-time thing and get frequently repeated in future events, and half-sure they will be a one-time thing "because CNE."

Now to wait on whether Ellywick becomes "Ellywicked" or "Ellyweaker" after the rework.

Tyredack managed to pump up Rust's buff to e192. Let's see what I get in a new z2000 click damage run I plan to do in a couple of weeks.
