Should we be expecting a nerf in the semi-near future? Because he went from a C-tier buffer to an A-tier buffer overnight. To be clear, I'm not complaining. I'm just surprised by such a dramatic shift in his power as a support champion. He's tacked on at least an e20 worth of party-wide damage boosts. And I'm nowhere near what some people have for favor totals and gold find boosts from other champions.

"Rust loses his shiny gold piece whenever you use his ultimate", be sure to have a familar on his ultimate, may be the issue if your stacks are "1" at area 1600. Also possibly cap it (for shorten CD - I hope you didn't dismantle him yet). My suggestion as soon as your cap is above 300 is to z1 with a machine gun and familars on both Rust and DM ultimate (none on the others nor roaming) shouldn't take so long with ×10 speed.

Thanks. when I hit 1400 I'm done with this tier and will set it up to cash in that achievement. Dismantling him makes it of course take longer too.

Familars kills count, so my advice is to set up a a spawner team to shorten the time between ultimate use and piece drop.

Not very fast (7/60 s) but you can do it in some progression run if you want too.

Well, of course reducing the formation to the essential gives way better numbers with less lag. IC optimization. So more around 18/60 s with only Taty+Widdle+DM+Rust at z1 (3 familars on field).
It's shocking the difference between the 10-team at 7/min and the 4-team at 18+/min... How can I still be surprised?

I set up a fast spawning team but my ult is ilvl 30/501 so that's not too fast. I'm loading Umberto in the background for Lae'zel 1600 so I have to wait on that anyways.

The bought feat on Rust will be reimbursed into gems.
The legendaries on Rust will be removed and converted into equivalent potions.
The shinies and golden on Rust will be removed and converted into potions.
The item levels on Rust will be reduced to 1 (or decreased by 10k if your ilvl is above 10k), and the removed levels will be converted into contracts.
The items gild won't be changed (Epics will remain epics).

I don't know if they added pigments to dismantle too, last time I tried it was a no.

Depends on the type of "dismantle" (full or epic) but what happens is that some of the qualities of the gear your champion has gets transformed into contracts or potions that let you put those qualities into other champions.

It's something to use when you realize "okay, this one champion sucks" or "okay, that other champion is a much better target for all those Legendary levels than this one."

You can also use it if some shinies felt on that champion in some chest openings or promotions.

That's why I did it. It much easier to put some levels on a champion again than it is to have a shiny drop exactly where you want it.

I also had a shiny drop on Ellywick last week so next week I'll dismantle her too.

I just checked and Hello Friends is at e23 already so if really needed, you can park Rust and load him up too. It might be an option when you're just not getting there.

I'll probably slowly prepare a transition to him... The small loss a tow favor won't hurt to reach z2000 anyway and with favor, he can be a serious boost over Nova in hardest variants. The time I get a few ten thousands of scales, I mean, I'll still wait next week to see how is doing Elly to decide how I plan it more in depth. Well that may be even a whole hundred thousands, if I quit Omin & Vale too...

(But that's not totally lost anyway, ie. Xerophon is no more in my team but remains a good back up plan)

Yeah, I had e84 favor for Loom and with 300 coin stacks, I had Hello Friends at e28 and the other at e35.

When my current TomT is done, I'll start putting legendaries on him.

I'm testing him in Elminster "Calcryx Tricks"

I can only set up three champions there and can't get higher than e216 soft cap. I'll now try first maxing Umberto's investigations and then see how high I can load the coin stack of Rust. That and some potions might finally get me there without adding more legendaries or doing a ton of favor runs.
