they already did, the issue isn't visual, it's that math wise it's enarly impossible to get enough.

It's after running Presto through ~1k areas. The number of components is more or less correct, the problem is that the cap is still displayed as 3200+, and collected pieces are not registered for the achievement. Restarting the game does not change anything.
I suspect that CNE updated the changelog, but forgot to roll out the fix on Steam.
But no, they haven't fixed crap, they just thought they did, and released a "coldfix" without even testing it properly. It's only disappointing if you were expecting CNE to do things right.
Number required was reduced to 200.
Fairly sure I won't do it in the available time but it would barely be in reach now (if I did nothing else, burned all my speed potions etc)
It was 2020 when I unlocked Presto yesterday. It's supposed to be locked to when Presto was released NOT when Presto was unlocked and it's still stuck at 2020 today.
And Presto's target in the box is still x/1000 (31 which is slowly increasing). I understand the target was cut from 1000 to 200. So the Steam version hasn't been updated yet.
He also wasn't updating in background for me, unsure whether he's supposed to or not but not is going to severely limit his usefulness.
By default, anything that's supposed to be happening in a background party, either happens slower or not at all. And yes, I don't really see him as useful. He shares a bench slot with other champions I'd rather be using, so I hope he has some fire magic available, because he'll be warming that bench for a long time.
Eventually he'd deal with that for me - which would be nice ;). However at the moment the cute widdle gnome in the same slot is far more useful to me, both in terms of total DPS and speed so I'd rather relegate Presto to a background component farming role.
And as you say bugs. I'm actually fairly tolerant of that in games - at least a bug in a game doesn't have the potential to crash the worlds financial system.
The only real annoyance for me is that the changelogs appear to be sucked down from a server rather than being part of the released code so the changelog often says "Yeah, fixedit" but the actual fix is days later. |
Must try and find their bug reporting system ;)
My first bug report thread crashed CNE forum with "Out of memory" error, and now I run the second one.

Like I said, I don't actually mind the bugs that much, the only annoyance is the discrepancy between the changelog and what the game does now and then.
