Corrupted Gem Question
Got enough at end here to get Nrakk Feat or a another pigment, which is better option, before event I almost never used Nrakk.

The pigment can be used on one of many champions, the feat is only for him. So it depends on how much you see yourself using him after the season ends.

You can even wait it out - the store will be around when the "incursion" ends, you just won't get more of those gems (except for certain adventures and variants that give small quantities of them.) So you can continue using Nrakk and make a decision later on. As long as you don't wait until the next incursion (which don't happen that often,) then you have plenty of time to figure it out.

Besides, pigments are not available for gems at all, whereas all event skins and feats will be available in the gem shop in 6 months.

I went pigments. It's a substantial boost to every champion. The Nrakk one is fairly 'meh' in comparison. At high levels, possibly that changes but my guess would be that if you don't know then pigments is the best option.

If you're planning to make Nrakk a permanent part of your Absolute Adversaries formation, then his tadpole feat definitely could be worth it.

Ceramorphosis seems to have the habit of buffing prestack abilities, and multiplicatively to boot. I mean, if you can call it happening to every AA champ released so far "a habit".

However, if Nrakk and the AA's are never to meet (because Nrakk is a tedious wanker), then there's bugger all need for that feat.

Feats = can be bought with gems in 6 months.
Skins = if you don't buy these now you MAY be able to buy them for real money later but there is a chance you'll never see them again.
Golden epics = if you don't buy those now you MAY be able to buy them for real money later but there is a chance you'll never see them again.
Pigments = buy now or never. It is a limited yet recurring supply.

So feats should probably be your last priority unless it's for your favorite hero.
If you're the type of player who spends real cash on the game then pigments are the top pick.
If you're FTP then skins, epics or pigments are the way to go depending on preference. Protip: epics aren't worth it except if you need a shiny potion. Pigments add to damage (but not a lot) and the new skins open up options.

Skins are "last priority." They are just the coat of painting you put on the car, but if the car's engine is trash, it will still be a piece of trash car with a fancy coat of paint.

In this game's terms, "no skin can make Jang Sao or Thellora not suck."

Edit: Yes, I know about Auril's bonus. Not impressed by it at all, not worth wasting gems - of any kind - on skins.

I just bought one pigment this time around. They come back, but i liked a couple of the skins and a feat on a character i'm using in groups.

Over all, id just suggest really thinking about who you are using and how much. If you have groups that you really enjoy using/creating and it helps you, that's all that maters. That is half the fun of this game, Doing things the way you want and coming up with your own combo's to beat the missions and play the game.

I agree. Arthritis and Bro-v may be the "meta" but I'm having more fun finding ways to fit Valentine and Omin into any formation I choose to run, and "wasting" resources to make things I find annoying less annoying for myself.

Finally managed to get Valentine's six slots all pigmented now. Champion slot 5 is now full of benchwarmers and Valentine.

I had the choice of buying two pigments for Briv or a feat for Valentine. Since I use Briv more often in the main party than Valentine, I chose the former.

.

I'm working on a prudence group, with high CHR and thellora/hitch.. Though i keep swapping in Delina.

The nice thing about this game is there are lots of End goals, so it can be fun to push a subpar group to the finish verse just sticking in your top folks every time.

I'm working through the patron variants, after simply not doing them for months because I wasn't focusing on patrons (which some would equal to "struggling with" for reasons unknown to sane minds,) and I've found that while challenging, none of them are different from their normal version, it's just that they need different champions. I guess having at least five champions in each slot allows for a lot of freedom on how to tackle each of those.

I also do them one at a time which may be "inefficient" but also allows me to do as usual, alt-tab and play other games while this one does its thing in the background (my background parties are background background parties.)

Struggling with = having to use huge potions to clear them, not ignoring them for several months.
