Defeat 100 special enemies, which randomly spawn in freeplay runs.

It's awesome that they manage to time those so perfectly with their seasonal quests.

Seasonal quest: Complete a new base adventure.
Emergence event: Only get its tokens in free play.

So, when's Split The Party 4 coming out? :D

Does it work in background party?
Kyouko Tsukino Nov 22, 2023 @ 2:09pm
It's working right now, but that could change at any moment if CNE decides it's time to replace old, known bugs with new, unknown bugs (that is, if they "update" the game.)

Edit: Also, it won't "work faster" if you have several parties in free play.

Strictly speaking, not only. I'm getting them in z50 mission in a time gate.

Besides, there is a catch-up mechanics similar to event tokens. It's enough to do 2-3 freeplay runs every day.

You need 200,000 Corrupted Gems to buy everything in the Thayan Enclave (not counting chests).

You can only earn 63,000 F2P currency if you complete the Emergence perfectly.

To get the other 137,000 currency, you have to pay US$49.99 for 120,000 + US$9.99 for 21,000.

So, if you were wondering why CNE broke the momentum of releasing Baldur's Gate 3 characters to dump the likes of Jang "Who Cares" Sao on us (and her abilities based off of pigments), there's your answer.

You can save your gems, and use them in the next one if they don't have things you like. besides, it's not like you really need any of it. The polish things are really nice though for random characters you like and want to buff. But this time my favs are two of the skins. Centaur hitch with the new character, or a random race group. then top it off with the skin for sentry, I just might have to pick up sentry now. that skin is really nice looking.

not sure about any of the feats, i guess i'll have to check them out a bit deeper. That aspect i'm still just barely scratching the surface.

I'd say golden item for Sisaspia is more useful. You can turn it into a golden potion via dismantling, and then into a golden item for a champion of your choosing.
JC Nov 23, 2023 @ 1:55am
Cool, i did not know that, So that is another on the buy list. I've only seen one of these events, or is it two? I get a couple things then i grab the rest in pigments as they seam universal. I forget what i got the last time, i think it was a feat for someone, and a skin and then pigments as well.

BTW, What is a golden item, other than i'm guessing the ones with the gold border around purple?

I mean, more than half of what's offered in the "Enclave" shop is worthless trash like LOLSKINSLOL.

I only care about some of the feats (for champions I give a crap about, so... Valentine) and the gold items for champions I care about - I think 63k is more than enough for a "casual." ;P

Heck, current gold items are for Sissy Pie, Just Sad, Lazy Eel and Blooshi*. I won't buy them for them, but for dismantling and giving to Val and others.

Pigments are... Meh. 200% damage to all champions, that's like, one more area past my wall, so useful. Oh, and they also make Just Sad very, very slightly less sad, so there's that too, I suppose.

* You can tell which one's the champion I have yet to form an opinion on, I hope.

When using Hitch's skin, there is a feat that gives a 20% per unique race. (though maybe you don't need to have the skin or equipped, i'm not sure about that part) His normal feat is 80%, One of the groups i run him with has at least 6 unique races, but i think i can tweak it a bit.

Right now the feat i have is 20, so 20 to 120% is a nice little gain for a magic group i run, a unique look and bonus power is part of why i like the game.

Sentry's also has feat also changes his race to half-elf which also helps for another group i use.

Shiny/Potion of Polish adds 50% to the effect of the appropriate item. Golden adds 100%, or 50% over Shiny. In short, golden items in events are total rip-offs in comparison with pigments if they are not applied to items with pre-stack effect or on some key items like Briv's item #4.

https://steamcommunity.com/app/627690/discussions/0/3818531444663308451/

For reference, I have 147 event shinies and 21 unused Potions of Polish.

Event feats are not particularly important. In 6 months you can buy them for gems whereas pigments are NOT available for gems at all. Skins are even less useful.

Support Pigments stack multiplicatively, and allegedly across the whole formation.

So, however you want to do the math, a large number of pigments adds up to a large amount of clobbering time.

It's an item that you usually have to pay for (Wild Offers, Weekends, etc), although the current ripoff Emergence has one for Sissy that you can full dismantle into a Golden Potion. That potion can be put on any other champ's item that has a Golden version available.

What Goldens actually do is make any item level increase for that gear slot worth more. At the same item level, it provides a 33% better benefit than a Shiny, or a 100% better benefit than a plain epic.

So, an ilvl 1000 Golden item will produce the same bonus as an ilvl 2000 normal epic. This can add up to hundreds of blacksmithing contracts saved if you're trying to get a particular item to a particular high level (e.g. Briv, Artemis).

Of course, if you're NOT planning to level up a gear slot, then a Golden for it (and even a Shiny) is a total waste.
Kyouko Tsukino Nov 23, 2023 @ 1:47pm
Oh, that makes pigments less "meh" then.

May invest in those instead of gold items, since I can give pigments to useful champions (Val!) without needing to go through dismantling and such.
