On a screen where you choose reset zone, left panel is formation setting.
https://ibb.co/fDmbQGn
You can load one formation by yourself by clicking the number, but on the core may be another formation set (or no formation)
I've watched party 3 reset and it works. Arkhaan I watched the reset because he is the last seat and I wondered if money was a problem. The first kill from the clicker gets enough money to put 100 levels on him so I can't figure out why these other parties suddenly break when they are offline or in the background. I can't figure out what I'm missing that breaks things.
- forgot to save the formation with familiars set,
- didn't choose the formation in core settings,
- forgot to turn on the formation in core settings (red square on a panel)
- familiars were already used in other adventures.
I use formations like "2 familiars only" and they can work fine for weeks. If a game decide to bug out, a tank wont help - it'll stagger anyway.
I shouldn't be able to take familiars if they are already in use elsewhere. Even when I click a formation and it asks if I want to recall champions I tell it to skip that. Not sure if it would pull familiars too so I never recall anything that way.
I'm tired of micromanaging 4 parties so I wanted to set 2 and forget about them for 7 days at a time. Hopefully it will start working and I don't have to micro 4 parties.
Unfortunately, nope. Background mode is a horrible mess from the very beginning.
My offline parties reset on 250-300, but they can do 400 on click damage. And still 250 work more stable then 300.
offline parties are good in completing easy patron variants.
also good in completing weekly patron challenges ( require some management) and collecting 5000 freeplay tokens.
good in completing season daily / weekly / milestone quests.
as to farming gems they are not good. Not quite useless, but not good.
