With him in the party, 50% of all non-boss enemies are uncovered as being rakshasa.
So just kill stuff with Turiel around.
This. I would also add Tatyana. I assume her extra spawns should help speed this up. Maybe even throw in Minsc for fun.
It goes really quick once you've Turiel in the party. That was the third weekly quest I finished (the first one was automated through gem farm (25 FP) and second was with the new adventures & variants (segmented health))
Still, depending on how high your speed champions are, it's entirely possible, that spotting 5000 Rakshasa is quicker than 2000 bosses as long as you keep Turiel in the party.
FWIW the base chance of spotting Rakshasa is only 20%, but it can be raised up to 60% with feats (10% rare and 30% epic; they stack).
Edit: I mean cheating in the sense of doing something that's not normally possible, regardless of how much you fiddle with your formation manually.
*But relatively, they were far harder than any hardest current content then.
