Rakshasa and Turiel
I am clueless. I assume there is a certain enemy type I am looking for to do this in a certain campaign? I tried Google but didn't find anything for the game itself.

With this sort of challenge, it always help to just read the toon's character sheet. If you plunk Turial in your party, level him and look at his third tab "upgrades" you notice the "march of the rakshasa" ability:

With him in the party, 50% of all non-boss enemies are uncovered as being rakshasa.

So just kill stuff with Turiel around.

IIRC, preferably not fiends.

I looked in there but I must have missed it. Thank you very much mates.

This. I would also add Tatyana. I assume her extra spawns should help speed this up. Maybe even throw in Minsc for fun.

March of the Rakshasa – Level 350 Ability

Turiel has a keen eye for deception; 20% of non-boss enemies that spawn are actually duplicitous Rakshasa, fiend enemies who have shape-shifted into other forms. These enemies count as fiends (in addition to their original enemy type) for the purpose of Favored Foe mechanics and Turiel's Unflinching Hatred.

Well, as there is a quest with way more humanoids, or the one with 2000 bosses (2 things you usually don't hunt in your usual gem farm), you'll probably finish the Rakshasas one long before you've done that two, so I'm not sure Tatyana is needed for that one (for humanoids, it's another story).

It goes really quick once you've Turiel in the party. That was the third weekly quest I finished (the first one was automated through gem farm (25 FP) and second was with the new adventures & variants (segmented health))

You can't avoid bosses during gem farm unless you have a 4-skip Briv. Don't underestimate the effort required to reach an item level of almost 5000 on the relevant item. I get like 180 bosses per hour when I run gem farm on the foreground, and that's without having experimented on a formation which makes use of Briv's skipping (currently 2-skip for me). So the weekly quest for 2000 bosses was a breeze. Patron challenges also usually require boss kills, and if you run any background parties those will contribute too.

Still, depending on how high your speed champions are, it's entirely possible, that spotting 5000 Rakshasa is quicker than 2000 bosses as long as you keep Turiel in the party.

FWIW the base chance of spotting Rakshasa is only 20%, but it can be raised up to 60% with feats (10% rare and 30% epic; they stack).

Yes sorry, I should have said that's true only with 4+ jumps or scripting.

Does scripting imply cheating? Because my 2-skip Briv seems unable to skip any bosses at all, regardless of where the jump starts.

Edit: I mean cheating in the sense of doing something that's not normally possible, regardless of how much you fiddle with your formation manually.

No, in the sense you can do it with constant monitoring, it's "as simple" as setting out and in Briv to avoid x5 areas. eg. with a 100% 2j, you finish an area with Briv if it is a x1, x3 or x4, but without him if it's an x2, that way you'll never see a boss. A non-100% must avoid 2 x# areas but can achieve the same goal. It's of course too tedious to do so without scripting but it's still "possible".

Before they nerfed Briv, it was possible to achieve the hardest game variants (at that time*) that way even without a 4j Briv.

*But relatively, they were far harder than any hardest current content then.

Oh right, the inability to jump over bosses is for variants only. Looks like free play still allows that even for less than 4J. I had gotten confused at some point.
