My event strategy is to start with a couple of runs for one of the champions from previous years (because I already have saved formations for them). By the end of that second run, I am aiming for a target event favor of e50, which I can achieve by going just beyond area 1000.
That is enough favor to let me coast through the new champion's variants using a background party on click damage. It also sets me up for a 500% favor buff at the end of the event.
Then I ignore the event until a couple days before the end, when I drop all my accumulated bounty contracts for the event tokens and farm chests for the champion that I use the most often.
Do a favor run (in the corresponding campaign) when you upgrade your legendaries, that way you'll earn back the spent favor (and some extra) before you lose it. Your favors will stabilize themself between e80 and e90 at that point.
All the favors I earn from TG, event and trials go on my gem farm's favor (Corellon), that way I can push my gem farm runs further (and spend less potions) ; because of that I usually don't upgrade legendaries on Corellon's favor outside of dismantling event.
I may have played this game casually and unconsciously for more than a year, and I haven’t played for a while , only recently returned to the game.
When I started playing, I was grateful to have some information from the community and to see how the game was played. Right now, I've unlocked all the latest Steam achievements for the time being, and it won't be too difficult.
I haven't played that the Trials of Mount Tiamat yet. (I think it needs to take time to concentrate, so I ignore it, for fear of affecting myself and others)
So what the highest tiers my champions are equipped, only some are up to golden or shiny, no any forge legendary.
For events, I will maintain the arrival area between 1000 and 1400 every time, and get relative blessings. I think around 7xx~8xx% boost per event. Give priority to "A Grand Tour of the Sword Coast", then give others.
My initial order of blessings favor: Mainly and preferentially for getting green/core champions, then Steam achievements.

Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus

Good luck guy. Don't spend too much in one game. I think there are lots of other games you can enjoy more. Not only the games, but also your life.
If I may suggest, Waterdreep: Dragon Heist should be quite high in this list, its global blessings are among the more powerful in game. Until "An Amazing Feat" (Xaryxis) was released, "Strong and Steady" (Waterdeep) was the best global blessing by far, when "Familiar Faces" and "Splitting the Party" are good ones too.
