Some good ways to make this work include Valentine, Krond, Avren, Warden, Dob, Penelope, Egbert, and hopefully NERDS in cleric form (easily the best group healer in the game). Otherwise use Orkira and a second healer positioned close enough to heal Orkira and champions adjacent to her. Use Widdle and Vergil to spread fast attack speeds around to your crowd-control champions. You can *try* Sentry in her stun spec, but depending on her item level as a speed champion, that might be too much of a health boost to keep her alive, though the rest of your party should be okay.
Yes, it's a nuisance, and really should be reserved as a trial modifier for much later trial days.
We're on day 5, the limits of previous days means that many healers can't be used, and changing the whole formation to include healers and remove tanks messes it up and makes the DPS go down a lot, so, so far, I couldn't finish the day's objectives no matter what formation I tried. (Not the first time I got this stupid 60% max health/10s thing.)
I have every champion available, but they don't have that many ilvls, and I'm still working on making them all gold/epic/legendary, but it's a slow process.
Thanks to the devs for forcing people to focus on an idle game... /sarcasm
6% instead of 60% - not so bothering.
But people choose Bruenor +100% damage.
Now you see the result...
Edit: Looks like my link doesnt work... you can find the topic ive opend in febuary on the second page in the bug tab.
I'm not sure that actually affects this trait. But I've never actually tested, and it's not something you can just change on the fly, or test on demand, since you can't just 'make' this trait show up for your trial.
There are several variations of this trait. One only applies only when outside. One only when underground. Another is all the time, but only 1 champion for 60%. Another is the whole formation for a smaller amount.
Korth or Donaar, why not, but they need gear. But Blooshi? Hell! I know she's the only evergreen offering that bonus, but one may probably best use her in his dps team in trial as she's the best buffer in her seat and one of the best in whole game ; she's also a tank available for all patrons and in no-melee or magic-only variants. Finally, she's one of the few tanks that have some advantages against this annoying daily restriction.
- Her health increase only when she's in spirit form.
- She has a deathward (deathward are useful tools for that restirction btw: Baeloth, Orkira, Strix...)
- She takes reduced damage when she's in spirit form (second spec choice).
There is better character to sacrifice for this buff... Sisaspia, Viconia, Warduke, Imoen, Qillek, etc. or even better go for another tank but a suboptimal buffer one: Evelyn, Lazaapz, Wulfgar or Walnnut all say hello then (but because of their poor potential, they will probably lack some gear, but luckily, it's the easier bonus to farm, as you said*).
* Formula is: 20% +0.08% per ilvl
For my suggestion to handle that: use one or two deathwards champions & firebreath potions. You can remove your hp nodes from your modron too (or use magic core).
It's fascinatingly random how new champions keep getting dumped into the same bloated categories, but there hasn't been a single new champion added to the assault party category. That's right. It's still the same 3 champions it's been all along.
And one, that is active now for me, deals 60% max health damage to everyone everywhere...
I had the 60% damage to 1 champion in the description but it did in fact damage my whole group all the time.
Havent done any trials for some time now so i cant tell if it changed - the daily chores in this "idle" game already require more time than a (western) mmo
Yes, as for scales reward... And to be truly evil, CNE makes sure the two core champions concerned are among the most called into patron challenges.
That locking of a champion for all content during the whole trial session is among the worst & dumbest idea in game industry ever. How many time, I can't do a challenge or have to postpone a variant because of that? Stupid design.
