As a Heads Up for Byteglow Users

Hey all,

As I’m sure you’re aware we’ve been having problems with the servers. We've tracked down some of the recent server issues to ic.byteglow.com, which was unintentionally pinging our servers to the point that they couldn’t keep up. Until we can properly sort out what is going on, access to ic.byteglow.com will be blocked. We know many of you use this site and wanted to let you know in advance. Apologies for any inconveniences as we get our servers back to normal.

From what we understand the creator of Byteglow is on vacation. We are looking into if this can be solved on our end, but it may have to wait until they are back.

It seems to happen at around the same time every day, just before or after the new vote/event dailies are added. Very frustrating. Never used that site. Hope it's resolved soon!

I didn't start until a few months ago and man what a huge help it is. Fingers crossed we won't totally lose functionality of the site.

Judging by its constant spamming of "Definitions updated" notifications, there is indeed something wrong with its current code.

Speaking of broken I have gotten "Open a Time Gate" the last 3 days in a row. I do have the pieces to spare but I don't want to reroll because who knows what I end up with.

Seems like Byteglow is back up.

I'm now getting "sorry something went wrong updating definitions" from Byteglow now and a blank page.

byteglow is integral part of playing for me. Formation setups legendary tracking and events.

The timers are awesome too. Honestly im surprised the devs have not released an official version of the site that has the same and even improved features.

Say when is the Nintendo Switch version gonna be fixed? Voting is broken with nothing but errors & it crashes & pops up error after errors. Reinstalling doesn't work either as that has already been done & the lag is atrocious even on high speed internet.

Most probably never. Console version support is just an afterthought.

Came to Steam from Xbox. Opened up the whole world to me. I can run multiple parties with no issues (except for recently with the Strahd fiasco I had) and that alone makes the jump worth it 10000%.
