i noticed that after placing familers that i can't close the familers placement window thingy

Yup me too. Not every time but if I open it while the dialogue windows are up I have to save/exit.

Have to close down and restart game to clear it!

On topic I am getting mildly annoyed at this happening but I am just so happy to be on PC now this is passable for me lol

I use the F shortcut to place my familiars, the familiar window is just too glitchy and has been for some time.

It's exceedingly rare for a bug to be patched "the next day" in any game. And this wouldn't even be considered a mission critical bug because there are work arounds (using F + left click or restarting the client if you refuse to do the former for whatever reason).

Beyond that, has anyone submitted it through the game to their actual bug tracking system? The steam board is not really the best place for bug reporting.

I had a similar glitch a while back.

Seems that the guys break the game on updates quite frequently - last one was no enemies showing up.

Solved by verifying cache - I was having the glitch, nearly every time, and just opened/closed without issue right now.

Try verifying cache and post if it works to help others.

EDIT: Broke again hours later so not a fix :(
