Azaka gold farming formation

Hey, so whats the best set up for Azaka gold farming atm?

Valentine's GF is increased by the number of buffs she receives, so place her to a position she can get the maximum of them.

Suggestion to replace Drizzt: Mehen or Omin.

I would also consider replacing Nrakk with Beadle. Not sure about that but I get 1.17e5% from it and if I say nothing wrong, you need to obtain 4.5 buffs on gold abilities from Nrakk to be competitive with that. Beadle's GF is a sticky debuff, thus you can swap in out, but it's a bit tedious to do to my taste so I stick with the dwarf.

Anyway, I found Azaka a bit too tedious to set up for little to no benefits in overall favor, you can obtain good/better benefits with a BUD spike and fire breath potion (Dob can easily beat Azaka's GF ; especially as you use a few oxventurers). If you do your GF close to your wall, you can use DM over Krull (instant GF rather than debuff, but it only works in progression, so you need a BUD spike with your DPS team and swap to your GF formation - of course, you can't use him if you stop at z2001+).

Using that formation, my GF comes from 3.4e92% to 6.2e124%, a bit more with debuffs. Of course gear take a part in those numbers.

Valentine increases the formation's gold find by 100% for each positional formation ability affecting her, stacking multiplicatively.

Choose a position for her to maximize her counter.

As for Drizzt, check B&G, Omin, and Mehen.

GF with my Azaka formation: +4,31e68% GF
With Hecate's Dob formation: +1,27e68%
Same formation but with Evandra: drops at first to +3,63e67%, after 5 ticks is about equal, and in the end I have +2,21e69%
My Azaka formation with Dob instead +2,60e69% GF, unfortunetly at the start of area its only +8,66e66% until all the ticks kick in.
So I tried to use that last one on z815 and I did not get any noticable amount of gold.

Back to my formation: now at 1,87e70 for some reason (didnt bother with mimic, I was left with just boss at 815).
omin instead of drizzt 1,13e70
mehen instead 3,39e70

with mehen, but beadle instead of nrakk 1,94e70

Now I'm trying to push with dob and firebreath.

Dob is quite useful during pushing thanks to his crowd control abilities.

Dob's GF increases with his deposit stacks so the longer you use him during the run, the better his GF will be. When I used him in an Asharra's H'n'H he was quite unbeatable due to that ; on raw now, he's slightly behind Azaka because of gear, but a few deposit stacks will close the gap, and so it can be considered to build a few in "low" areas, even if you don't use him in push formation (doing that is more reliable than doing that with Ellywick, anyway).

Keep in mind that his deposit stacks often don't survive game restart and party switching due to a glitch.

Ok, so yesterday when I finally managed to set up Azaka grind with mimic at z815 I got +5,92e42 (+16%) favor from first ult.
I was tired so I just left game with familiar on her ult, which gave me +2,38e43 (+66%).
Now after doing this whole waiting for a spike > push through the wall with Dob few times I managed to hit z843 and get +1,02e44 (+284%) favor.
While I managed to get to z847, I was checking out favor gain. And there was no regular monster kills, and then sudden jump to +1,09e44 (+305%). I assumed it was from the boss kill.
But then I got e260 dps spike which allowed me to pass z850, but favor was still +1,09e44.
So I wonder, how does that work?

It can come from various things.
Beadle's or Baeloth's debuff debuff, DM's unicorn, Merilwenn's stacking buff, Ellywick's cards... A reason I prefer Mehen over Omin, Omin needs to be aligned with other (and with a 3-4 champions in front).

New run, started with your Jims formation + Dob instead of Miria. Used all the Huge pots.
At z865 by chance I end up with lonly mimic, so I turn to my Azaka formation to check it out now and I got +5,03e44 (345%) favor from that.
Then I kept pushing, checking out how my Dob formation compares to yours.
So up till z871 I got +1,44e45 favpr with yours.
Then up to z876 I got to +1,45e45 with mine, whole whooping 0,01.

Now Im trying to push through z889 (with e272 dps spike), but I notice I only gain favor if there is unicorn in formation.
Still, your way clearly wins. Thank you.

When favor gains in your favor runs drop to 500-1000%, switch to something else (other campaigns or patron/story missions). The law of diminishing returns is in full effect in IC.

Now I do favor/forging runs in main campaigns only once or twice per event, and usually end up with e5% favor gains (although I intentionally don't use Azaka farming).

That was my biggest bet. DM's GF is only active if he disappears and let his Unicorn in. That's why using DM for gold find can only be done during (or at least with an area of) progression, as Uni can only appear upon entering a new area and never in a previously completed area.

Depending on ilvl, you need 10 to 20 areas* to compensate no unicorn (for an epic).

*or even more for overgeared players

IIRC, it is one year old, and does not cover the latest GF champions. However, it is still usable.
