Also, just as an FYI, you can't get Android promotions if you own an iphone, you can't get Ford promotions if you have a Fiat and you can't get Canada only promotions while in the US.
What if I outsmart them and buy a Ford? Then I use the Ford promotion, right?
Also, they can both (steam/epic) run at the same time on the same machine just fine. The only issue I see is the level up selector does not persist to each - not sure if anything else is like that.
you can either link your accounts with epic or simply get those rewards without linking
hint:
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those epic players.
Once the giveaway is over, starting on Steam would probably be better.
This is like anything else, if you are able to use a promo/giveaway then you are better off
This is without a doubt the worst EGS freebie so far, but what can you do?
Clearly what you do is post on game sites of games you don't play. Which I suppose, to some, might be better than playing the game...
Clearly what I do is post on game sites of games I have played, that were appalling and vapid and a complete waste of time and I uninstalled, to the spittle flecked, swivel eyed rage of the fanbois.
I own 2000 games across platforms and I waste my time on this? OK.
And why are you hiding behind a level 0 account? Something to hide?
It amazes me people still think their opinion matters above everyone elses.
If you don't enjoy the game, the best thing you can do is play what you want to play and leave the other to indifference.
As all you are doing here, is bumping up their engagement scores on steam forums, which makes steam think "oh look this game is popular" and boosts them on recommendations. So, ironically, you are making the game you hate so vehemently get more player-base.
The power!
Or I just came here to see what people thought of the EGS freebie - undoubtedly the worst in 2 years - and now I will go away probably forever.
I need to find a forum on world peace, one post and I can solve humanity's problems.
Thank you for your great wisdom Old Gamer, it has changed my life.
World peace is easy to obtain. Actually been happening for 75 years, and that is why entertainment/technology is now the forefront of humanity's focus. (acts as a distraction)
What isn't easy is to maintain world peace as humanity is very tribal and old grievances erupt when something happens (that could be an anomaly) and all those feelings come back up again. (An example is 2011 riots in London, 2020 riots in america etc)
That is why I say everywhere...even in real life, it really doesn't matter who you are or what people think of that. What matters is can you get where you want to be in life? Nothing else matters. It really doesn't.
There hasn't been a world war since 1945 (where it ended)
I never said there wasn't war. There always will be war due to what I said after that statement. (Humans are tribal and think there little piece is better than that other piece or whatever from that other very similar human being...)
don't forget america also earns money on wars, and it keeps their economy going, so that's another reason for the eternal war machine.
But is that because it's America (aka USA) or is it because they are exiled peoples (tribe) which went away from war and wanted a better land to shape/prove themselves?
Now we are getting philosophical. :)
Another example is the English, right. As at the time Gaelic was the European culture of preference, whilst the English were different (specifically Wessex/Essex/Anglican (East Anglia). So they had to prove themselves to the rest that that culture was a good culture.
You can do other examples, mainly by leaders who have an ego, and you can always talk here about the mad austrian but he gets too much air time nowadays. Better would be to say Alexander "the Great", who was MACEDON (not Greek - as the Greeks, just like the Gaelics in UK dismissed northern tribes (including Macedons) as being "the same as them") but wanted to be Greek. So his whole ego was to unify all these little polioi (polis = city state) and thats how Greece became Greece with "Central Macedonia" as they call it becoming now Greek. The reason why Islam has put the white horned man in their version of the Bible. :)
Human history is fascinating, and that is why you should all learn it and interpret it the way it was and not try to change it just because our culture has now changed/changing to a more "moral" based (I write "moral" like this as morals are a subjective thing) society. But leaving real history is a sure way to get mental leaders again :)
Well, at least that is my take on things.
