Flies on the Wall - bosses that one shot champions
Some trouble I've had a couple times now, is with bosses that just one shot champions behind the tank. It happened with a dragon that shot electricity, very annoying but powered through it with potions if I recall right.

Now in the Flies on the Wall adventure, got to level 50 and am obviously crushing through all enemies, but the Creeping Hut boss kills 4 champions in his first hit, every time.. what gives? I usually can get to around level 250, so the first 100something levels are just a cakewalk. I'm not sure what's going on here.

What's your formation? Looks like you need more tanks for hp boost.

I've got a Drizzt / Companions type formation that's working decent right now, Nayeli and Wulfgar both as tanks.

Hmm, is it viable to have another tank on backup (Arkhan's all I have to add atm) for the specific boss level to try and make it through?

Hard to say if that would be enough but worth a try. Additional tanks and heroism potions are great help against bosses who attack past first row.

I also discovered that Nayeli doesn't give health to other champions unless you choose her hp spec... I'll keep that in mind if I run into this issue again. Thanks!

Yup, health potions and more tanks for bosses like these. Depending on the restrictions, Briv or Qillek can help a lot, or if you don't have them, having Calliope use her ult before the fight to give you some health cushion.

Tyril also gives a health bonus to everyone in the formation.

And if he's an armoured boss get Donaar (aoe spec) and Ezzy (if you have her) with hitch (in the same column if you can).

But it may be a simple case of more power? (aka farm a little)

well if lvl 50 kills you I am not sure whether potions will help as you are just postponing your problems to lvl 100 etc.... Normally 2-3 tanks which increase party HP should be enough (except for a very few variants).
If you are being one-shot then even healers will probably not help.
You may want to try to use heroes which provide shield and ramp it up before the boss attacks but again if you are having trouble at 50 you will have A LOT of trouble at 100 and later.
My suggestion is to farm some favor to increase your gold find so that you level up faster. This would make your heroes higher level when your reach lvl 50 and thus would have more skills and tank will provide more HP.

I'm closing in on level 250 now. I had plenty of favor, I just didn't think about the hp buff from my tank since I've always sorta scoffed at it... until now! Still learning :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Yeah, I didn't pay attention to that either for a while, but now I always use extra tanks for the hp boost when I'm allowed. Gromma, Aila, Tyril, and Wulfgar are my main ones for it, in that order.

Iirc, its a static boss...

As soon as you enter the area, spam the key for Krulls ult.
Boss will be dead even if he slaughters your minio...champions.

for good measure you can use Grommas ulti first so no mobs run beyond the boss, but yes, krull should solve it.

On some bosses gromma spawns her wall behind minion spawn T_T

You won't be alone in coming to that conclusion. HP share isn't as well explained as it might be. It doesn't help that with the first tank players encounter the wording of the specialisation choice is...well, a bit ambiguous/vague. Nayeli's 'Devotion' spec is her tanking spec...but it just reads...'increases Nayeli's health by 70' which doesn't sound particularly effective...especially compared with her damage spec that flaunts a damage boost of 100% (even though that's actually not all that much in the big scheme of things...it just sounds like it is compared to the other one and hence why, more often then not, people get in a habit of choosing that for her by default over her actual tanking spec)

Nayeli is actually, I believe, unique in that her spec choice actually changes her entire upgrade path...but you'd never know if you were new, and it might even take a while to realise even if you weren't.

But yea, don't underestimate the value of health share from multiple tanks is the lesson of the day...it'll save your skin a few times probably.

Grommas acid arrow path maybe? That's relatively unique (not to the level of Tyrill I guess)
