But, one important thing to note: is that it takes eighteen hours of bounty contracts to equal two thousand five hundred tokens. Enough for one more free-play run during an event for your chosen champion.
Yes, do free plays to area 50 to get bonus chests - do this until your tokens run out.
If you're not behind your PC enough / dislike the farm runs - The last time during the event where you're active use bounty contracts to fill your tokens to the nearest 10k and buy the gold chests from the shop with tokens.
Letting them go to waste, would be a . . . . waste!
1. Bounty Contracts only use them within an event (you get more tokens)
2. Tokens, spend them on free plays during an event. Each run of 50 completed levels (so wait until 51 before resetting) gives a random champion chest. Eg: If you did an Avren freeplay run to 51 and completed you would either get a Gold or Silver chest for Avren.
3. Random Chest has a pity timer of 4 to get a garranteed Gold, if you are unlucky enough to get 3 silvers beforehand. Then again, you might be lucky and get 11 Gold's in a row...
4. Use silver champion chests before Gold chests. As silver drops lower rarity's first (they also give you money to speed along your process to get to 51)
5. Gaar would say here: Balance your champions out to at least all blue gear cards. I do this, but then focus on getting one champion all epic. (Already got Ezzy as all epic, now working on Avren!)
6. Also farming favour, generally a good rule of thumb is on your second run (where you have a few thousand (or if you're me have e05) favour behind you) in an event; is to "farm" favour by whacking out the potions (speed, bud, gold, dmg epics if you have them) and farming until your increase % slows to a really slow increase per minute. I generally stop after it takes me more than 5 minutes to gain 1%. But probably that is overkill for event favour farming (unless your endgame and favour is hard to come by).
Hope this helps
OG
Thanks for your reply. I do wonder why you would spend your time farming favour on an event, though. I mean, wouldn't it be more productive to spend your time farming on another campaign?
It's just to make it easier. But also, it grants you up to 400% (I think) increase to one of your campaign favours. So I tend to do say 4/5 hours worth of farming on the first day of the event. Then I leave it. So for instance, I got to e15 worth of favour which will be a 151% boost for whatever favour I choose (probably Tiamat).
I would say that is well worth 4/5 hours. I don't think I would spend anymore potions etc on it though.
Oh, that's pretty cool. Is there like a formula known for how this works?
e01 = 10%
e10 = 100%
e20 = 200%
e99 = 990%
Klemvor 2nd blessing to increase favor farming in events by 25%
Torm's 4th blessing to start each event with 2500 tokens
In general Event's are also great for getting achievements for reaching 100x levels. I think all my above 400 were on events.
Also good to increase your damage with each achievement done (not just a 100% but 1% dmg increase per achievement gained: see achievement then event tab for more details)
