Can't turn off dialogues in free play on PS4.
While checking a beginner's guide, I saw it recommended to farm free play on pc as you can turn off quest dialogues in the options making farming that faster. There is no such option on ps4.. It's really annoying how slow it is if you don't press Circle when they talk or every time you enter a new zone.

i don't know an option like that on the pc version.

It saves a few seconds per round... in the long run it can add up. I would stop whingeing about it, honestly. It's an idle game. The bar for complaint should be pretty high.

I don't play console but why not complain about one of the most helpful features of the pc version being missing for no reason? CNE has been pretty good in the past about listening to suggestions and frankly this one just sounds like it's an oversight.

It's in the Settings: Skip Cinematics in Freeplay (cinematics being a bit of an exaggeration)
Hmm it is activated in my settings, but the quest dialoges still show up. does that work for you?

Thanks. The guy above you doesn't make much sense to me. First he says it's a nice feature that obviously saves you a lot of time in the long run but then says not to complain about it being missing. I just don't see why it shouldn't be on consoles since it's already in the game for other plaforms.

Are you sure you are playing a Free play campaign? It doesn't hide it in the regular campaigns.

One of the most helpful features? What? Please explain your logic.

From what I can tell it saves you about 5-10 seconds of IDLE TIME every few rounds when dialogue pops up.

Normally I use the world "helpful" to mean something actively helpful, not just a time saving device in game.

Help, I have to watch dialogue automatically scroll!

Help, I have to click my own distractions!

Help, I have to level up my own characters!

Help, the wolf's got my leg! HELP! Seriously HELP this time!

Like I said, set the bar for complaint a little higher. People don't like whiners.

Note: They can add this feature at any time with ease. They choose not to. They don't have to recode the whole game to turn off dialogues. So you would be better off asking them directly why they have chosen not to add this feature than to whine about it in a place they don't really pay attention to.

Yeah, it's a QoL feature, I just don't see why they would take it out for console.

Also Jouchebag, you're the only whiner I see on this thread. You also clearly don't play on console as you can't do anything else on console while you're playing a game. This doesn't have anything to do about wanting the game to play for me. I enjoy idle games and the feeling of progression and feeling stronger and trying to maximize favor(or souls, etc) per run and be as efficient as possible time wise. Right now it feels so inefficient as I can 1 hit mobs from 1-100+ but waste a considerable amount of time waiting for dialogues or the area description that appears every time you enter an area and delays it by 2-3 seconds from starting(I'm assuming it would also skip that). If there is a feature on pc that would help me get to the platinum 10 hours+ sooner, I'd like it on console too. Also I bought a familiar to support them and I almost never pay anything in free to play games. Aside the missing skip option, I love the game, it's awesome.

as far as running in the background, you CAN do non-game apps, like youtube or netflix while playing Idle Champions on xbox, and it will basically run as if minimized on PC. launching a Game App will exit any other running Game of course.

Unfortunately it's not the case on Playstation 4. Launching even a non-game app suspends the game and it just freezes the game right as it was when you suspended it. I do wish I could watch stuff while the game is "minimized". :(
