So generally slot 1 is better to be Deekin and not Bruenor?
My Deekin is nothing special (ilvl 40ish) with Bruenor being hundreds and hundres higher (and all epic). For me, the difference is about e01-e02 damage in specific situations.
There's moments where I switch Bruenor in (over Deekin) for extra DPS. But that really depends on what champions are available and what I'm fighting.
I always start off with Deekin in slot 1 if he's available, just so I can go toward my wall at triple speed. (level 90 skill + spec)
Since I'm a speedwh**e I only swap Bruenor back in to push 1-2 final levels if needed or when I'm farming gold for favor. (Azaka farm).
i understand now. I am also speedwhore who is impatient. I just finished a 4 day run and decided to start playing 2 favor god to unlock the permanent bonuses.
I guess i should open a Time Gate to get some chests for Deekin because he is missing one item slot.
Is it better to get champions unlocked rather than level up one champion in TG?
I guess its based on preference and who the champ is.
@OldGamer: my vote is unlock all that makes sense to. There's always some special challenge that could need them to clear it
More worth for your pieces that way.
Depends on the champion.
Anything you will unlock in next few event i'd not unlock via timegates while pieces are scares.
If you're missing year 1 champions, like Deekin, I'd grab them via a timegate.
Make sure to take a look at which champions unlock via Patron currency, don't waste your timegate pieces on them.
I'd unlock 'm all over leveling specifics up, just to be able to do all variants.
