Newsletter Codes

So I know Newsletter codes don't work for general use but is this because the code is specific to the user or just because its one time use?

Reason I ask is, I could want to giveaway my newsletter codes for players reading my thread in the combinations forum. (an idea to get players to subscribe to it :))

Newsletter codes are one time use only, there's nothing preventing someone from gifting their code to another user (whether it gets flagged as cheating on the receiver's end I do not know).

So no, just enjoy them :)

They are, however, limited to one per week as well, so gifting a code will only be useful for someone who themselves do not subscribe to the newsletter

Not limited in use to 1 per week as far as I know, I only pump 'm in once every few months and they all work perfectly fine.

From what i understand, they are limited to one per week per account, with no expire date. As in, if you do not use the code for X amount of weeks, you can still use all and get a reward
However, if you use one this week, and get one from someone else as a gift, it will say that you already hit the weekly limit or something

But hey, if I'm wrong, all the more power to the ones getting multiples per week

Someone send me an unused weekly code and we can try it out ;)

Your wording is irritating.

The case is you can only claim one code for each event week/event chest. But you can claim as many codes as you want in a week when they are from different event weeks/chests

Well not really, a few codes you get the rewards multiple times but they are things for skins and the like and the second+ use of the code doesn't really do anything

ex. The click colour skin code has been given a few times I think I've claimed it twice

Let's see... first off, you could have started with something like @Rabiel, to clarify who "your" was referring to. As it stands, "your" may well stand for "everyone in this post is a minus habens who can't write properly".
Then, what was it you found "irritating" about the wording? The "or something"? The "getting multiples per week"? One is left wondering what @Rabiel did wrong to deserve your unprompted remark.
Next, I understand the lockdown is having deleterious effects on the psyche, but there's still no need for uncalled vitriolic call-outs. What happened to the age old netiquette of "treat each other nicely"? Why the confrontational attitude? Or, as you concisely wrote, "what is your problem"?
Last, have you considered for a second that their "irritating" wording might be a result of any combination of age, background, lack of experience in explaining, and/or English not being their first language?

Well, that's quite nice of you to ask.
Currently I'm having quite a bad month due to medical issues and such, not really sure how to work it all out. As you might understand this is getting quite stressful and causing a lot of top chamber activity.

One of the things I like about this game forum is the respect and possitive attitude of most of the people that contribute frequently. It has motivated a big nerdy like me to write a couple times in relation to the mathematics behind some of the characters mechanics without fear of being looked in a bad way. Let's try to keep on this tonic that most of us are doing pretty well.

Regarding to original topic: You only need to consider the problem from an economic point of view. It is a free game and you can make multiple accounts and link them to as much e-mails to obtain an indefinite number of codes as you like. If you then use them only in you "main", it prevents Codename from monetizing the chests, that is the main revenue source for them.

No matter how many bugs and "cheats" we can exploit in the gameplay, I doubt the economic part could be "hacked" so easily.
