Game gets easier over time with more heroes / better gear on your heroes / bonuses from completing in-game achievements / getting some global blessings active / etc. Event favor can be earned much faster after getting a bunch of that than it was when first starting the game.
They also could have just jumped into one of the main campaigns where they already have insane amounts of favor instead of reaching such a high area in the event itself. (I'm currently at e17, e19, e17, and e16 favor in the four permanent campaigns. I think I've seen other players boasting something like e24 or larger in some of those, though.)
I'm not as well off as some players (I think) but I can get to something like the e5 range in event favor just from the recruit mission alone now, and then up to somewhere around the e9 range in event favor in a single event free play after that. I'm currently in my 4th event free play with no year 3 variants done yet (I like to get way overpowered on the event favor before touching any of the variants) and I'm at 3.7e11 event favor already earned, area 309 (and still climbing), and a reset right now could earn another 5.56e11 event favor. Over each of the last 6 events before this one I've been ending them at anywhere between the e15 and e18 ranges. Ending events at somewhere between e9 and e12 was normal for me for most of a year's worth of events before that. Going back farther than that, I was slowly climbing from ending events at e6 to ending them at e8 throughout my first year or so of the game.
I did this in Tomb of Annihilation, where I have e25 favour.
However, getting event favour isn't that hard if your heroes are well geared. I'm at 8e23 favour for the event already, with little to no effort in 5 runs, and all 3 variants are complete. You'll get there eventually, and events will be trivial, it just means leaving your computer running for a year lol.
E25-28 on my main events, E24 on the winter event (could pretty easily be e30 but I don't need favour anymore so I don't bother raising it higher)
Not hard with a gold find team and a dps team
I've been playing that long and I'm e16 for the regular campaigns, at best, and e7 for the event.
I guess I do not have good teams.
you don't have to follow it strictly, that's just one of the easiest methods, which actually does not require Momo, until the last moment when you get the achievement
as for someone mentioning that this achievement is bugged - be sure that you have updated the client, since originally it was indeed bugged (two conditions were wrongly calculated, so there was no chance to get it)
"This has been fixed in the latest update. To obtain the achievement easily: Use Fine As Is -> Tight Formation -> The Long Game in Sword Coast. Place her in the middle, and have Nrakk adjacent. Then fill all the slots adjacent to her. You might need to kill a boss and let the counter for not killing an enemy go up while the bag is out, but you should get it easily."
I got the achievement on Regis' Deadwinter Day freeplay, putting Morgaen in the middle of the second column from the back. Didn't have Nrakk in the formation either but everything worked out in the end. Good luck.
Fine As Is gives 300%
Tight Formation 450% if you have 6 adjacencies
Total: 2100%
So picking weakest specs would give you this achievement without Nrakk.
Just remember that buff value is not the only requirement :)
Nrakk does not buff that 1st spec, but he does buff the others.
Tight Formation values with maxed Nrakk in order of increasing adjacencies:
Any formation with her having 6 champions around will work, you just need to pick "Fine as is", "Tight Formation" and "Keep it simple". Bam, done, move on.
One of the faster/easier event champs achievement if not The faster/easier.
probably the reason for that is the fact that it was broken so people were trying to get it multiple ways that didn't work, because they could not
actually, I wonder if Nrakk with maxed best specs could give the right amount of buff :D
multiplier is close to 2.7, squared won't even reach 10 and buff was 100 times to low ... prolly wouldn't be possible
there was one more reason why achievement didn't work, so actually that wNrakk calculation does not matter as well :D
1: has anyone actually read the updated description for the achievement? "affect at least 6 champions with paid up front while buffed 2000%+...."
hint: i did *not* surround her with 6 champions to get the achievement like all the other posters said... :)
