Store issues?

Is anyone else having problems with the store not working since the Time Gates opened and Mighty Magic Weekend began? Since I got Dhadius's Gate and unlocked him, I have all the heroes specified for the chest and I wanted to get the 7 chest pack. Can't make any purchases, however.

Seems to be a problem with the Steam In-game Overlay, but it works for every other game I have tried it on.

There is something wrong with steam. I had problems sending posts to the community forums. I think, just wait, try tomorrow.

No steam related issues here atm, just saying. Only a little ingame bug (sometimes after hours stuff doesnt load properly - specs, characters, etc.) but I just had to relog no big deal.

I've restarted Steam, the game and my computer multiple times since the problem started. The game keeps telling me it will try to finish 1 incomplete transaction.

Check that you haven't disabled the Steam Overlay in-game.

I often do it when I get some kind of announcement that someone on my friend list is playing some game I don't care about which pops up right over the upgrade button I wanted to press (and the stupid message takes 30+ seconds to disappear).

In my original post, I mention that the Steam Overlay works in every other game, but not Idle Champs. I even disabled it and re-enabled it. I'm back to the original problem I had, or close to it. It takes forever for my gems to update, and I can't buy anything, even the 500 gem Gold Chests, now.

Now in the Anniversary event, with chest bundles for individual champions. How sweet is that! I can get some Strix and Dhadius gear without worrying about getting gear for the other casters that I wouldn't have needed from the MMW weekend. Problem is, I still can't use the store. I can't even buy anything in the store for gems again.

I'm at a total loss and at my wit's end here.

Two more things I can think of that can cause this issue:

- Do you have any sort of screen capture / fps counter software running? Those are known to interfere with the overlay, fraps being a common offender.

- Are you starting Idle Champions from your Steam library, or with a shortcut? If you start from a shortcut, the store/overlay will not work.

I always run it directly from my library, either from the steam icon on my task bar, or from inside the launcher itself. I don't use any sort of screen cap/fps software. Nothing running that ever prevented the game from working properly before that fateful event, anyway.

Yeah something weird is going on. I wanted to buy gold chests with gems, but it's not letting me do it.

Restart client. I had the same problem. Restarted and I was able to purchase gem chests.

That *did* work for me for gem chests. Now, it doesn't matter how many times I restart Steam, Idle Champs, or even my whole system. I got nothing but the game telling me there is 1 incomplete transaction and the client will attempt to complete it. That's okay, though, because now I'm saving up the 100K gems I need for the new familiars. XD
