you can save your formation and use it again and again.

You can save your formation but unless you know each hero's strengths, weaknesses and when they're best to use, you can still be at a loss. I've had several times where I unlocked a character only to realize they're not worth putting out on a particular scenario.

Considering how expensive some can be to unlock (pre-% boost), a way to get helpful suggestions would be nice.

Formation is the only thing to care about, if there is no need to think about formation, then there will be no purpose "playing" (idling) this game anymore.

True story.

I stumbled across Idle Champions while looking for a screensaver which did more than 'just blank the screen' because I have a burned in line across the top from where my browser changes from 'tabs' to the white bar of the search / url bar.

Moving images / just different stuff moving across that area eventually reduces the burn-in and this game happened to be the thing which helps with that - I leave it on overnight and it's gone by morning.

And yes, I've tried just turning the monitor off, and having the regular screensaver blank it out, but it needs to be on for like 16 hours a day, and over a number of years has developed 'sensitive bits'

I would be completely against the idea

my friend and I started playing this,... and alot of the communication between us regarding this 'game' has been due to supporting eachother on formation suggestions and advice.
We even stream to eachother from time to time if one of us struggles to do it right, so we can tell the other where to move someone.

So this suggestion would ruin this social aspect of the game, for us at least. I know what we have going wasnt exactly intended, but hey... im rolling with it.

As a halfway measure I'd like to be able set familiars to Upgrade all heroes. You'd still have to eg stop it upgrading Jarlaxe. You'd still have to choose specialisations, formations and alternative heroes. And if the game was more balanced, you'd have to think a lot more about these choices.
