When to use your Blessings
I have 20 million favor from Torm. I initially spent mine but with the hit to gold that you take, I reverted it all back. When do people start using the favor instead of keeping it for gold?

i don't know for others players , but for my own case :

i never spend more than the 1/3 of my total Favor in pocket

( Exemple with number : if i have 900.000 i'll never spend more of 300.000 and keep 600.000 )

PS :
Currently i have All the Blessing in Grand Tour Campaign :squirtheh:
(from nearly 2 week past)

and have 36/40 in global Impact in Tier 3 for Tomb of Anihilation :tbpwink:
( all others are Full = close to complete too :hana2: )

I generally spend about 10% of my total on the blessings. I'm probably fairly conservative there.

One good things is that when you convert Event Favor to Torm/Kelemvor Favor at the end of an Event, the conversion is based on your total amount of Favor so it doesn't make a difference to that if you spent some on Blessings.

With warnings enabled, it'll usually give the warnings in percents when you go over 15%?? in a favor purchase. For the big, single-level, all-campaign blessings I shoot for at least double the favor needed before I purchase.

With warnings enabled, it'll give you a warning whenever you try to spend more than 1%. You usually shouldn't. If it gives actually tells you the percent (15% or more), you never should.

My total spent hovers between 5-8% of my total unspent.

Although this rule of thumb does make generally some sense to me, I object that sometimes I have found it useful to spend almost all of my favours at once to unlock some powerful blessings that helped me a lot through hardest event missions - namely Temporary worship, Legendary champions and Double damage.

You can use it whenever you want as long as you spend it in %.
So lets assume you farm some more favor, like the double than before, obtaining a new value of it. You can spend around 10% of this new value of favor into blessings, and you won't feel hurted by the decrease in favor. If the blessings you want are too expensive and require more than that 10% you can spare at that moment, just wait to raise it more.

I use 10% also because it's very easy and fast to figure out and to keep track of how much of it I already spent.

If your goal is to just get through a mission, spend as much as you'd like after you hit your wall and reset your blessings afterward. You lose 1% that way, IIRC. Likewise, buying the Temporary Worship blessing at the beginning of an event and refunding it right after the event ends can be worth it, even at 90% (Just don't do any adventures in that campaign until after you reset your blessings). But in terms of permanent spending, never spend 10% on a single blessing.

Double damage only raises your wall by 1 level, or roughly +25% gold find. So if you spent 15% to get there, 85% * 125% = 106.25%, for a net loss in gold/favor gained. It feels worth it because you can get farther, but you get less gold at your new higher wall, and you gained less gold on your way there, so you might need to grind for a few minutes just to hit your previous level.
