Anyone for "Catti-Alone" ?! (now includes a detailed run)

If not, what is your expected outcome?

It says Catti Brie will be the sole fighter in the quest with multiplicative DPS in each stage. No help from others, no gold spending to upgrade (is it?).

the good part is her attack timer would be 1.8s, and ultimate cools down in 10 second.

let's hear your opinions or experiences.

I just calculated (1.4)^175=3.736e+25, I reset the game before calculation and don't remember the monsters' life at 175. Is this DPS enough to get past 175?

for now, all I can say is that the quest turned green (difficulty: easy) in my last reset. my favor is 2.26e8 now (only 50% increase from previous value).

FINAL EDIT: I finally completed my run on the quest. I wrote every important detail in the 15th post in this topic (unless someone deletes his/her post in between)

It wouldn't be 3.736e+25 total dps, that would be the multiplyer on her dps, so it would be 3.736e+25 X Catti-Brie's normal damage

Put 1 Familiar for auto Upgrade Levels of your Catti-Brie and 2 Ways for Complete :

1 - Put all others Familiars in Battle Field with one FireBreath Potion activated and clic yourself in your Ultimate , one each 10 Seconds

2 - Put 3 Familiars in your Ultimate and active one Strenght Potion for increase Damage and you can stay AFK all the Time and come back when quest is complete

I Suppose Less DPS could be good , but not enought less of that

You can upgrade her. You can also use the clicker/familiar. Think 'solo, but superpowered'. There have been a few threads on reddit/discord.

Because your progress will depend a fair amount on her gear, Im hanging off until I've got more chests for her. I suspect most people who haven't bought chests will do the same.

The puds on level 175 have about 1e48 HP, the boss has around 3e49 Hp.

Puds hit for 1.12e12 ish per hit boss hits about 1.83e12, before charging up

I have checked some values:

Boss' life at 175 is 3e49

Catti's DPS is 1.3e19 at level 585 (I currently have 1.4e8 favor and gold needed for this level is around 7e25). I don't think I will earn that many in this lone quest.

ultimate does not seem to be useful Catti herself.

adding other extras, I guess DPS falls short about a thousand. not good. it seems we need favor, not gear.

Base gold drop at lvl 175 is about 1.1e17

Damage per shot needed to 1 shot the level 175 boss on first hit, at zero distance should be about 8.03e23

Her ultimate hits up to 6 targets for 13.6x dps

With no gear, and no boons, and no achivements, Catti should do about 3.73e16 per attack at level 585 (6.91e15 dps(in the event 2.07e16)) So, I would say gear is probibly important.

Yeah gear will be troublesome, specially with the current chance to drop gold chests... I don't expect miracles this event, whereas my previous 3 events were total crap gear-wise, so I think I might struggle a bit to do this quest.

1.38e20 DPS at level 685

100 levels and the increase is so small.

next level up is at 720 with x2 damage for 1.8e29 gold.

I am sorry I forget to mention the gears I got. bow gives +125%, bracer is +65%. other gears are skill related so no need to mention to calculate pure needs.

The quest difficulty indicator is not indicative of anything in reality. It changes color only according to the amount of favor you got, but it doesn't take into account limitations related to each variation. There are variations in the main campaign that are marked as easy for a while for me, but they're still impossible to do, due to my insufficient equipment (and so, low favor to reach the same damage I would do with less favor but better equipment).

But if you won't make it with 2.26e8 favor, then I'll be nowhere able to do it either.

Spending 5000 Leaves and getting stuck would be a nightmare :) I will try to get more favor before trying.

By the way, I don't know how you play, but staying online for a few hours when hit a wall will earn you more favor unless it is your team wall. I was getting at least 500% in previous runs and now my wall is 230 and I could get only 50% after many hours. this is my team wall it seems.

Yes, I do exactly this, I don't waste event tokens for re-runs before having maximized my wall (and thus my favor) on previous run. I don't have a reason for spamming free plays, anyway considering I rarely get gold chests from them, so if I have a lot of tokens by the end of the event I'll get gold chests directly.
My problem is that I haven't all bonuses from Torm and Kelemvor yet (global ones ofc), only the first 2 related to money, and I don't have Stoki either, so my favor income is slow and low compared to players who have. (and I don't use potions unless necessary)
I never reached e8 favor in any event, with time they give us, while I read of many people breaching over e10 of it.... I wouldn't have idea how they do honestly.

When you decide you're ready and try for it, let me know how easy/hard was it for you, so I can compare your experience to my situation, I still have many doubts I can finish this event.

They, and partly we, have better gears on us an we play the game from the beginning. There are hardcore player who pays for gold chest and many of them have purple shinies on them. they can go up 270 I guess with current limitations. Others like me play daily to get gems to buy gold chest for 500 gems. I have mostly blue gears on me. my wall is around 230 on all stories. If you love the game then can become a hardcore lover too, and buy DLC packs etc. your decision is the rest.

Do not ever think about spending 10k for gold chest. that option is only for non-daily players. you can play 4 free runs and chance getting gold is not low as you think.

ok, I have just started, and for the records, her opening DPS is 1.13e10 with my current gear set: green-green-green-blue-blue-green.
I will go as far without any upgrades/familiars and record the level. then continue with upgrades.
I currently have 5.6e8 favor

EDIT: Area-47: being alone takes its toll, can't put the fires out without upgrading or clicking as monsters can now reach her. I will just upgrade my click damage to level 50 just to get past area-47, and continue without any more upgrade

EDIT: It was a nightmare on area-47, you click to kill monsters, Catti shoots 2-3 times on everyfire, but continue walking not putting them out. I realized to let 1 monster to slip by to stop her, then she shoots the fires finally. Anyway, this was just to find out that area 50 cant be passed without upgrading Catti as her life (not DPS) is not enough to fight boss long enough. She is now level 150.

EDIT: area-97, same tactics with click damage at level 83. no need to use the ultimate skill.Catti being on level 165 is enough to beat the boss on area-100. I am not gonna upgrade further until really needed.

EDIT: area-105 cant be passsed without leveling up. she is now 275. I am not sure skill is important here, but I chose "in the zone"

EDIT: area-125, thing are getting thougher now. upgraded to 350. still playing free with no other intervention.

EDIT: level 350 could only get up to area-130. continuing with level 500.

EDIT: area-147 needed click strategy again. but both 147 and 150 need no special babysitting because Catti has 1e16 HP, and monsters can only do 1e11 damage. still free play.

EDIT: area-155. Cattie cant get past here unless she is lucky to get more critical hits before boss powers up to kill her. I will try 1-2 more times before using an upgrade.

EDIT: area-160. the wall. with current favor and gears, this is free limit. not enough gold for more upgrade. however, only bosses bother since they start powering up. the bear kills Catti when it reaches around 1e6 power level. I used ultimate for the first time instead of upgrading her.

EDIT: areas 161-167 was only possible due to her critical hit killing in 1 blow. it is about 2e2 times normal hit. and plus ultimate for boss of course. gotta get gold to upgrade.

EDIT: area-170. Level: 385, DPS: 6.6e43, CritDMG: 7.7e45, Satir is not powering up, used ultimate to get past easily. 5 more areas to finish this agony.

EDIT: area-173. last nightmare before the boss. enemies are amassing behind the blockade, some passing by to Catti. Ultimate CAN'T get rid of them fast enough and she only hits those behind the blockade, not the blockade itself. I guess this is it. time to use some potions just to get past a stupid blockade. why stupid? because none can kill each other (after some time enemies are powering up like bosses do, so it wont take forever).

EDIT: THE END. I gave up the idea to use potions for while and collected more gold to upgrade her to level 600. that damn blockade did not give up. I had to use my magic hand and a small fire breath (still trying to be minimalistic) to get past 173 and find out that 175 boss was a piece of cake. BIG RELIEF!

side notes:
do not try the quest unless you are greenlit to go. (2e8 favor)
do not run without strength or fire breath potions. and they are only needed on area-173
familiars do not click ultimate fast enough. do not trust them to do that.
areas 47, 97 and 147 may need your help (and possibly wil)
it took me 7 hours to complete being minimalistic. the last hour was to get past only area-173.
