How do i unlock Drizzt?

Hi to all.

Just wondering how to unlock Drizzt?
I thought i'd done all of the Events that unlock characters, but i guess not.

It's not an Event character, you unlock him in a special adventure from "A Grand Tour of the Sword Coast", that is itself unlocked only if you have finished a certain number of other adventures already...

Can't remember the exact number (maybe 11?) , but you should be abble to find more details and the exact info n some older threads of this forum.

and it's " Hard " to do , cause this specific quest request you go in hight level stage with spécial conditions

Grand Tour > Lv 150 in Underdeep Cartography > lv 175 in Overdue Rendez-Vous ( with Escort Drizzt Himself - A THIS POINT NOT USABLE but Unlock after this Mission )

Wow, Lvl. 150/175 ?!?! That does sound hard.

Highest i've gone so far is Lvl. 75 to finish the Chickens Level.

Also relevant is that as you switch between base campaigns on the trail to catch up to Drizzt (Bruenor was heading in the right general direction even in the tutorial, and a lot of what you're doing has been random adventures along the way) the actual base difficulty of reaching a given area goes up: a level 1 giant rat isn't going to be the same everywhere you go.

That said, Drizzt was certainly reachable for the longer-term players at the time these quests were added, and he isn't going to get further away.

I was wondering if Drizzt was an event character or reachable as part of the normal game. So basically you just need to get where he is and do the right things?

He's not an event character. He's reachable as part of the normal game. You can unlock him by meeting the requirements.

Dylan is waaaaay off when he says it takes about a month playing to get Drizzt.

I've been playing nearly 3 months, I just ticked over 1,200 hours (nearly all "active" as I dont afk and leave the game running overnight), I have 1.04 billion Torms Favour and I wall around lv 155 when trying to get Drizzt.

Maybe if you spend many $$$ you can get Drizzt in a month.

Surely you've acquired some potions of fire breath (for free) in that 1200 hours of playtime? A handful of those will finish it for you.

I've been wondering how much of this game you can get away with just waiting a few nights for gold and such to stack up. I take it Drizzt needs some effort put into it beyond just being patient?

With click damage potions, you can do almost anything if you just want to. Drizzt included, as soon as you unlock his quest. And those potions come from normal gold chests for free.

edit: Ah true, meant silver+ chests. Easy to get anyway :)

I get a few click pots from the sliver chests the game drops for playing it (something like 1 in 5 chests give me one).

So do u ned to "catch up to Drizzt" all in 1 try?

ie: sometimes i'll b doing a campaign (like the Chickens ect.) & an Event startes, so i leave the base campaign & go to the Event, losing my campaign progress. Must i finish the Drizzt search adventure in 1 playthrough or is the "Drizzt search" progress saved?

I wonder that, too. I've been in the event stuff right now. So if you "finish"one adventure and swap to another trail, you reset your progress?
