Is Drizzt a good champion?

In the slot he is used in, is he more useful then other champions?

I think I have only ever used him once, just to try him out and decide that he was not useful. I don't think there are even any variants where I have used him.

Not at the moment. His debuff is funny though.

No. He's awful. There are only a few heroes worse.

He will be getting revamped, though.

It's really saddening that such an iconic hero is so much underpowered, seriously.

I hope they will fix it soon, this issue has been lingering too long already.

He's good for farming gold at your wall since he's a Drow, so once you reach your wall and want to favor farm, he's useful.

His skillset is interesting but his damage is a little too low.

Even as a F2P noob he's terrible. I had all these expectations when I got him... *poof* gone in smoke.

Hitch and even the other Drow are vastly superior dps wise. And Jarlaxle has strong gold find, especially with multiple rogues on certain maps .

His fix is near ...but does he need a fix? There is a lot of other champs. He is not needed, so is his fix :P

I don't use him the same way others do. Yes he is good for the gold farm, but he's good for something else. I set him up with K'thriss and spec him in triple attack. While K'thriss's demon is active on him, not only does he attack 3 times for my highest DPS's damage, but the Icingdeath actually triggers off of these attacks, meaning he does MORE DPS than my highest DPS. This is the only use, sadly, I have found for him.

I still rather would use Makos if I'm pushing levels because the buff he gives is extraordinarily stronger than the triple demon attack. :< Still, an interesting concept, but come on guys! Drizzt is my youth! Fixxt!

The slot itself wouldnt be much of a problem if, like many said already, he would be fixed a bit. I see more issues in replacing valuable healers/supports like Celeste-Donaar and Tyril-Barrowin with Regis and Wulfgar.

Of course an iconic character such as Drizzt Do'Urden needs a fix, but even some of the rest of the Companions of the Hall could use a helping hand.

I just got him after much labour, but I knew ahead of time that he was going to be a disappointment. Honestly though, I haven't noticed too much in my usual game play. I had him running this week for the points. He's mostly nostalgia for me, but I heard that if you have the other Companions he's not too bad?

He's okay. All in all the Companions are underperforming though, so, it's kinda nice that they will get reworked in one of the upcoming Balance-Updates.
I do hope for the best as Drizzt Skillset in and off itself is really not a bad one, it's just that his damage isn't on par with other options.
There also was the problem, up till Nerys' release and now Qillek, that you didn't really have a healer that could be used for their formation.

Wulfgar, honestly, bothers me a lot more though. His skillset is centered way too much on buffing the other companions while they have little to nothing, aside Drizzt, that actually works with their party.

I really do hope that they will go away from such designs and make it so that you could still use champions from certain affiliations outside of those but that they'd excell within them.
