I mean, Timegates would, in part at least, have to work differently then and a good source of conversion to the current permanent campaigns would be lost.
Thanks for the feedback. Reading your post made me realize I was inaccurate/not clear in my post, which I will update after this post.
I had two convertible temporary favors, timegate and event favor. I chose to close my timegate early and convert while keeping my event favor unconverted until the deadline. Upon converting the timegate (after closing the gate, as you pointed out), my event favor forced me to convert, despite a day+ left for the conversion deadline.
Does this change your analysis?
Sorry, can't help you. Maybe it's a bug, try contacting developers.
I could other interesting time related examples, but those are actually exploits, that (I guess) are still present in the game, since CNE does not know how to handle time.
Great hypothesis about time relativity! I do use speed potions, and I'm sure I did use some during the last champion event. If you're right, it might be the source of my 'bug.' I'll do as another suggest and post this in the bug forum.
