No offline mode

So idk why put all of a sudden since the Gromma patch ive not been able to progress offline. I wasn't sure if prhaps they were getting as far as they could and then staying there but thats not the cast as made sure auto progress was on, closed it and waited an hour, came back and theyre on the same level ahving collected 0/25 items. any reason why this is happening now? I seem to be getting gold though as I log in and have a fair amount of gold.

but i could close the game at say level 20 and reload a while later and be either, where they were up to, or theyd be at the level before the furthest they would get.

I don't pretend to know the details but seriously, you have to have an online connection to play.

This. If you want to test, just load up the game with your internet disabled. It won't load. Game is made to be played online, and that's it.

when i said offline i dont mean with steam in offline mode or anything. i mean when i close the game down etcetc it doesnt carry on.

I've never noticed any actual progress on Offline play. As far as I have ever seen it just calculates a certain amount of Gold based on the time you were Offline and the Wave you were at when you went Offline.

There's no progress in Offline mode, only gold income (and it's far less than what you'd make simply idling Online). There's never been any level progression with Offline mode.

The only thing you earn with the game closed is Gold, and Event Currency if an event is running.

There is no other offline progression.

that´s bad for ppl that don´t have much time to play. During the week I can only log in for a limited time at night. If the game had an offline mode I could at least log in, buy all upgrades and let they continue.
