Guess again if your answer to my second question was yes.

I suppose i could start a new game on my second steam account to get the rewards, but if game cannot be played without stunts like that i will just stop playing.

This do not mean that i won't suggest to others that they should try your game, but your way of trying to force the game down the throat on people is NOT cool.

Its a means to advertise their game. Get over it. If you want special stuff sometimes you have to do more than sit there and watch the game play itself. My issue is the fact that the system is not working. Friend used the code, got the gold chest, I got nothing.

What's wrong with it? Good advertising, you have to freedom to send it or not...they have the freedom to join or not.

I think it says more about your attitude and how you treat your friends that you see this that way.

Its just a basic simple way of letting the people you would reccomend the game to have a smoother start so they don't feel too held back at the start.

I don't get it. They offered this opportunity and if you find it useful, you can use it, if not then avoid it. I'm not going to ask my friends to play it but why should I chew the developers out for it?

In the first place my friends on Steam know that I have been playing Idle champions for some time, so they are probably already aware of the game.

I have no problem with friend referrals. I happened to have a friend who likes idle games and hadn't played this one. It wasn't a D move at all to get him in on the action.
