I'd rather not use him at all, but he does solo ok when trying to ensure he gets all the kills.
he is indeed not useless
hmmmm
Well I'm not sure what you mean by "e49, e50, e53, ext.", but I can only think of scientific notation meaning you're doing 3.45e50 or something which would be 3.45x10^50. If you're doing that much damage Nayeli's buff from being attacked may be irrelevant in which case my entire situation where Krond was useful will not happen, also by then Krond's ult will likely be irrelevant. I don't know if they should owe you a refund for his stuff at that point, it's not their fault you are beyond a point where Krond can be useful, but invested in him anyways assuming he would be. Even then he should be useful in the event where your Favor wall can not be that high immediately. It was actually in the event that I found this relatively unusual case of him being useful in the first place. Hopefully they will patch him (or new champions will synergize with him) so he can be useful later.
They should do something like check every 2 weeks which are the least and most played characters and give the by far least played some more team buff skills while lowering the most played ones. Then repeat it until all get on an even level.
I don't want them to nerf the popular characters. I think a better idea would be to create future champions that synergise with the non-buffers. Such as a futrue buffer that increases damage for Intelligent characters. Also future swaps that shoudn't make non-buffers compete with buffers.
So right now, with the event, we could theoretically have 3 parties going. One on the Sword Coast to earn Torm's favor, one in Daggerford earning Kelevmor's favor, and one in the event earning Leira's favor. You wouldn't be able to use a champion busy in another adventure, when you start a new adventure.
Then the game really does become about choices. We don't have 18 champions right now, much less 28, so which formation do you fill out all the way, or do you put an even number of champions in each of them? Eventually we'll have more champions, but that won't diminish the choices we'd have to make. Nayeli can only be your front line champinon in one formation, who do you put there in the second one? How do you split your dps champs up between the formations, do you have all the heavy htiters in one, and those who don't matter much in the other?
If they do that, best and worst doesn't matter as much as your goal for each adventure. All of them will get used, and the formations will get much more interesting. And synergies between champions will be more important than gear.
Have developers said something during the last Twitch stream about upcoming champions or Krond?
I don't want to use the same champions all the time, so I need new support champions who will buff other races than (boring) humans and other attributes than CHA.
And don't give me "that's against Lore," favored enemy is only supposed to affect the ranger's combat prowess, not the entire party's, and yet Minsc is indispensible for any variant that sends a specifc class of enemy at you regularly (looking at you, Stealthy Rogues).
