How to tell "type" of enemy
When I upgrade Minsc "Favored Enemy" skill at level 50, how do I know what the enemies are? I see Satyr for example. I would think they could be humanoid or monstrosity. Is there a way to easily tell? I guess I could go look in some D&D guide or something, but I'd like to avoid that if there's a way to do it ingame for example.

Thanks!

Your two guesses are reasonable, but Satyrs are actually Fey. This is an issue that really needs to be addressed.

Wow, yeah I'm really surprised by Fey. It's pretty much a crapshoot for most people then. I've read a good bit of books about the setting and even I had 0 idea. Definitely should be addressed. Thank you!

If you click ingame on the magnifying glass from a crusader you will see the race of him at top middle from crusader info screen.

Except they're talking about monsters, lol.

Nice, that's definitely useful, also makes clear that in fact some monsters aren't vulnerable to ANY of Minsc's debuffs.

You can look up the monsters in the D&D Monster Manual, if you want to know what type they are. All the game monsters are pulled from the 5e Manual and lore.

As well, if a monster is included in Minsc's Specialization, the target circle under them will change to have a skull-like icon in them.

But we'll also add your suggestion to the suggestion list.

What target circles? I've been playing since the alpha, and I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Monsters affected by the Favored Enemy debuff have a red circle underneath them, with a skull in it.

It's already been posted, but the only reason I've gotten by on this is because I'm familiar with the D&D monster classifications. Like, Gnolls are humanoids! (Lol, puppet spell ruined more than one hyper gnoll boss battle)

Looks like this thread was pulled from the dead, but nowadays when you hold your mouse over a monster in game, it shows HP and type.
