DLC 4 true ending???
While the TRUE ENDING exists for the main story, I saw some posts a while back that say that DLC4 TOO has both a standard ending and a true ending. How true is this? And if so, what are the requirements to get it? I've been doing my best to research it but all I got was tips on how to get the true ending of the base story/normal game.

after a series of quests that you will get Yuna's Stalker Quest, which would also make you unlock the achievement "Until Next Time we Meet" this might be a plot point for UW arc of SAO you know finally Alice and Eugeo stop world jumping since Aincrad

other than that doing Seven's quest will net you one of the 2 blueprints you need to get her costume (you will have to do DLC 4, 2 times anyway if you are a completionist freak), Eiji's as well but you want the Braveheart costume from him no THATS THE REWARD for doing the Manhunt Quest unless you like to the Excecutor Costume then you will need to do the normal end first from DLC 4 but answering "Let's take a look at the most suspicious places"

DLC 4 is just another ending take place after true ending of normal game. That's it.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Since you edited it: in order to get the extended ending for DLC 4 you will have to replay the DLC again and choose the opposite dialogue to your previous choice at the part where cutscene can't be skipped or could be the above post.

I got the extended ending on my first run so the update (1.6.1?) must have changed the earlier requirements

Nah, maybe you was right, i ran the DLC 4 with Eiji's and Seven's Quest both on easy so i did the opposite afterward and get the ending.

Thanks. I finished DLC 4 back then feeling a little empty. I was hoping for bigger tie ups to the Alicization arc, and basically, the next game. Plus I may have missed something about a Subtilizer cutscene with Lievre. I still don't know how to get that one though.

the cutscene with subtilizer is a bit weird you unlock it by doing the entirity of DLC3 you know the quest from Yui that asks you to kill some named enemies after Lievre enters repair mode

what the extended ending of DLC4 reveals is that the Seed Nexus is now entagling itself to the games resulting in the Snow Queen Quest thats the crux of DLC4 remember Alicization is big on Alice in the Wonderland theme so thats setting up the entire setting of UW I just hope we get another custom character and not a story about Kirito again cause ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ he's been the main lead for 2 games (Lost Song and Hollow Realization) and then there's the EFING ANIMES

meaning the major players in the plot of UW will be Lievre and her master Subtilizer obviously Eugeo and Alice since its their "game"

and since UW's central theme are AIs outgrowing their programming this will be interesting with the AI cast from Kirito's party and their involvement

Don't you need to pay Argo in order to see Yui at the end?

no though I'm still not sure about the loudspeaker item she's looking (what the hell does she want it for) for as I had to claim it again for the new game plus

Actually what gives you the quest to Yuna outfit is at the first cutscene of DLC 4, when you meet Seven in town and she ask you where to find material to craft her outfit. You' re supposed to answer the second choice "I know where to look". This will trigger the "Manhunt Hard" quest.

The loudspeaker for Argo is a DLC 2 quest. You get it in demon cave.

Wait. Isn't Manhunt: Hard from Eiji's Quest?

Yes, but it's the dialog wwith seven that decid the result.... I was searching for Yuna outfit, because I had completed the DLC but didnt get the blueprint nor a quest to get it, so I searched on google and that's what I ve found.
Then I restarted the DLC by clicking on the bed in my room, ran it again following that advice and it actually worked.

So, you can only do Eiji's Hard Quest by picking the hard one from Seven's?

Well kind of. That's the trigger to unlock the quest for Yuna outfit. Then afterward you get a repeatable secondary quest to hunt for Yuna's stalker in white frontier, where you get the blueprint along with materials to craft it as reward (only if you bring Yuna and another specific character along). It's just an easy fight where you need to kill one player btw...
