Best sniper build?

What is the best sniper after the recent update and what is the best sniper stats build?

AMR got their projectile buffed against heavy armored enemy's weak points which deal 2x damage after the patch.

I'd recommend Deadwind variants, Tiamat MK.

Maxing DEX is always crucial for snipers, STR only for their requirements, INT enough for Armor Break(or Viral Shot), Conceal, Bullet line Eraser; AGI, LUC, VIT your choice.

You'd want these:
- Weak Point Damage
- Mechs Damage
- Lifeforms Damage
- Humanoids Damage
- Damage at max HP
- Physical Attack

oh damn... i dont think i could change the chips do i? guess i have to keep on farming on exterem defficulty dungeons

well actually you can unlock half the chips of a weapon and replace them with something else from another weapon. meaning on a weapon with 7 to 8 slot, you can change 4 chips. That's why the cologne from Argo that makes all weapons you loot have all chips locked is so important, it allow you to pick the 4 chips you wanna keep on your weapon.

P.S.: There's no point in playing on normal when you're above level 100 (myself I switched at around level 90, as soon as I unlocked the extrem mod).

My sniper chips that are locked suck so I will have to go farm again but is there any good location that i could farm for a better sniper?

First zone you mean the Sea Watch Tower in Remnant Wasteland? That boss drop AMR Deathwind, not Tiamat.

Getting the Rank 9 from the Demon Cave is also a way but technically, Gosphet is easier.
